So for the past week or so, the population seems to have tanked. It's horrible. I'm seeing very few people in areas that are usually heavily populated, even during the times of the day that always had the most congestion. It's taking forever to find groups for dungeons. I've noticed this on the NA PC server, but I can't speak for console / EU folks. Is there something going on that I just don't know about? Was Half-Life 3 released?

✭✭PS4 EU has been absolutely heaving. To the point of annoyance occasionally when you have to wait for a boss to respawn (oh the inconvenience) and dolmens are just such a mad melee of people I've begun to feel sorry for the deadra.1 -

I don't mind the occasional player, but I had 5+ players CONSTANTLY around me.
Could not get anything done, had to log...

Xbox NA though OMG it has been blooming ever since release and just seems to get busier I love it : )

This is an instanced game. So while you might not see anyone there. It doesnt mean the game is empty. ✭OP zone chat seems alright (4 different people commented in the pic you posted) and keep in mind MOST people do not actually play during the day, they play on between 5pm and midnight
It could also just be that many people that are online @ that time are actually playing on DC or AD, or as has been stated above leveling alts
