Enchantment Level Glitch

blacksanctuary
I crafted a level 30 to 40 weapon damage glyph using Edora potency rune, but when I sent it to the client, the glyph is only applicable on a level 35 item. The same problem persist with Jaera potency rune, it is only applicable on a level 40 item, not level 35 to 45 as it says.

Be sure to check that the item you're wanting to enchant, and the level of said item, are compatible with the glyph.

As an example, weapon damage glyphs can only be applied to jewelry (and not weapons).

A lot of players miss this ... not to mention the level of the item to be enchanted.

Sounds like the OP knows what he is talking about. I hope he has put in a /bug report ingame?

That said, when you are crafting enchants for someone, it is important to find out the item level in advance. Typically you want to use the highest level Potency runestone that will work for that item, to get the biggest benefit from the enchant. So you should only use an Edora (or perhaps Pojode) for a level 30-34 item, and Jaera/Rekude would be used for level 35-39 items. I mean yes, the potency runes SHOULD work on the entire range of item levels specified in the tooltip (unless there is the sort of bug that the OP is calling out), but it's suboptimal.

yeah, the client originally wanted a level 30 weapon damage glyph so I used Edora, but when I sent it to him, it says it's only applicable to level 35 item. He wanted two more level 35 glyphs so I used Jaera thinking it will give him the most weapon damage, instead they were only applicable to level 40 jewelries when I sent them to him.
