Not with the present wording. You won't be consuming poisons the same way you consume a potion, not unless your knee has a mouth.

Snakeblood will not affect the new poisons. Wrobel explicitly stated this on the ESO Live episode.

Hell no, that would make the passive way more op than it already is.

Some potion mixes have negative affects, due to some ingredients sharing those effects ( ravage magicka for example) may end up on a restore health potion. Snake blood reduces the duration of negative effects

There are 24 potion effects - 13 helpful, 11 harmful. Detection and Invisible are technically opposites, but they both help you.

So if you take Blessed Thistle, Dragonthorn, and Stinkhorn you get a potion that increases weapon power, restores stamina, and lowers armor. Snakeblood reduces the lowered armor effect.

It was never about poisons. Snakeblood is about reducing harmful effects when working with three potion reagents.

To my knowledge, I don't believe the snakeblood passive currently works properly. Since beta, it has been bugged in that it only works for some players but not for others. You can test it by drinking a potion with some negative effects. If you have the passive maxed out, it's supposed to reduce the negative effect duration by 100% (i.e., remove it completely)

Snakeblood is something I have never invested a point into. I just make potions that have no negative effects.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Same. Useless passive.

They did mention making snake blood more useful. I have spare skill points and still wont buy this because its just so pointless. Maybe at some point it will actually be worth having in the tree,

Oh yes, let's make a passive that makes a new game mechanic entirely worthless.

If they incorporated new potion reagents or a system that allowed the crafter to create unique potions with extra potent buffs but also came with a negative effect thst could not be avoided, it would create a risk vs reward for an extra potent pot buff, and a situation where snakeblood would be desirable

At the moment there is literally no reason to have a potion that contains a negative effect. Unless I'm mistakeb of course, I can't check at the moment.

The point of the snakeblood passive was to allow you to use some potions with less common effects like spell resistance, armor, etc that also have some negative effect such as ravage health.

Unfortunately I believe it is still bugged, so the passive only works for some players but not others.
