Hello, Medieval3d here

I just want to say I enjoy a lot Elder Scrolls game, I enjoyed a lot playing ESO, but for some reason, I cant play more than 10 minutes, then my screen freezes I still hear the sounds and If for example I "attack" I hear my character attack, I bought Imperial DLC and Orsinium, saddly I could not enjoy them, I had a lot of fun on PvP, even I was lead a lot of times, I have an old video card: AMD 7850 HD, processor Intel core i5 3570 CPU, 3.4 GHz, 8G of ram,

I dont know what could be the reason of this, I just know some things:

-I had Windows 7 x64, in some point I started to get some crashes playing ESO
-I update in a correct way AMD drivers to the New Crimson Edition Version a lot of times, because are constantly updating the drivers
-I have the PC version of the game (ESOTU Imperial Edition), I had the Steam (PC) version but I noticed If I use the feature of "check the files of the game" then will start to reinstall the whole game completely, so now I use just the "normal launch version"
-I updated Windows 7 to 10

The problem must be something but I dont know what could be, only happens with Elder Scrolls Online game, could be a compatibility issue?, Windows 10?, AMD drivers compatibility?, some thing of the game updates?, I dont really know, I should not be doing this kind of post or even think what could be the cause of the problem,

I'm just a consumer, an user, a player, a costumer

Please give me a solution, tips, etc, It's supposed I should have better answers from primary sources, not searching and looking on non official sites, its supposed developers must help costumers

I just want to play Elder Scrolls Online, just that, not think what could be the reason of why the game is not working anymore

Please give me a little of your effort

Thanks

I think I found the solution, and for others would help If you Updated Windows to 10 from 7, Just assure to click on your ESO.exe icon or shortcut, click right mouse, then assure to "run compatibility test" and then let Windows decide, I ran now the game on Compatibility mode for Windows 8 (no idea why), but it seems works, for now

Damn, I crashes again, the game freezes, I was on a raid, I achieve to play a little more, but the game freezes when I was with a party in dungeon, I cant believe the game is too unstable... Love the game but If only had more stability would be one of the best game in my opinion, I meant If you have a good end video card I guess would be no problems, I dont know really :/, I cant believe the instability and how is that allowed, doesn't feel good, its like: " lets see If the next update will solve the problems, just wait and see what happens..." :(

ESO has always been a little crashy but when the last DLC came in it went from the point where I'd crash maybe once every couple of play sessions to crashing several times in a single session and it has never really come back from that. It's worse in PvP than in PvE but happens in both and, for me and people I speak to, seems to happen most after loading into a new area whether by wayshrine or by transitus.

Initially ZOS seemed keen to fix it but then they stopped responding to tickets or threads so we can only assume they can't or won't fix it.

They also introduced other exciting new bugs in TG that are less serious but also not being fixed like the periodic switching of characters and mobs to be a bright metallic purple.

But to cut a long story short - I too am finding that my play time is dropping simply because I can't face the constant crashing and relogging, I'm just getting frustrated with the lack of interest at ZOS in fixing major problems.

People, NEVER update an older windows to a newer version.
    Do a clean install.
Sure, it might take a wee longer, and it can be a hassle, but you will win a LOT by doing a clean install.

    Trust me.

I understand you competely, its like:

" The new update:The following things has changed or added:

-Its added a new bug to annoy people and get them frustrated while they are doing quests
-A new bug will make players get the game freezes when they will be on a party"

Also been experiencing frequent crashes recently, playing on laptop with older AMD card (5830M) and windows 7 64-bit . My frame rate in Cyrodiil is noticeably better with 64-bit client, but the 32-bit client seems more stable (crashes less). Never had to reboot PC, only the application crashes.

A couple days ago, however, I had a weird issue with 32-bit client where I couldnt log in to a character, kept getting timeout connecting to server. When I switched back to 64-bit, it was able to connect just fine.

If you are encountering trouble with amd drivers (certainly possible). Take a look at the link below.

Roll back to an older driver, and if that doesn't work then replace the graphics card with a modern gaming card.

Interestingly enough, the crashes are now plaguing my game, over the last hour & half or thereabout.
Deleted my user settings file, which did not stop the crashes. Ran a repair, did not stop the crashes. Switched to the 32 bit client, did not stop the crashes.
All my crashes are happening one place, Taarengrav Barrow in Riften. Up until entering there, I'd had no problems with the game today.

Going to log back in and see if the crashes occur anywhere else.

I have played for just over 20 minutes without another crash, after deciding not to go back into Taarengrav Barrow. Makes me think there is a problem in certain locations within this game causing a conflict with video drivers.....

Got an hour of play in before the game crashed again. Inside Avanchnzel delve in the Rift. Turned off the pc & went to bed after the last crash.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully, you can get the issue fixed with their customer support. Too game of a game to shove it aside for tech issues. For a massive MMO like this, I think there will always be some glitch, bugs or tech issues. Hang in there and work with their tech support.

Are you having similar issues with other games? If so you might want to check your graphics card. Make sure the fans are running etc.

Yes that would be true, I often get my game freezes when I'm talking with NPC or doing a quest

Finally, I think the game fixed him self. After have the game uninstalled for long time, I decided to try luck and download it and install it again. I'm pretty sure the problem was due updates and also I noticed on my Task Bar on the process, when I launch ESO said I was running the x32 version, so I run the game using the x64 version .exe file and no crashes or overcharges of any type. I was pretty sure was something related to game optimization.
