How poisons SHOULD have been implimented

You have the same effects you always have (though possibly reduced ravage effects) but you use oil instead of water and it turns into a poison. the poison is applied to the weapon through a quickslot and has its own GCD but like potions is reduced and boosted by alchemy enchantments. it is one time use only and the effect is applied to your next attack using the script that the "fetish of anger" memento uses. there no complaints about balance or the crap ingredients still being crap and they will have use in PvE.

    Should of been a simple dot or disease to decrease any healing affects on your character. Should of been minimal to like 10%. Not these poisons that have all these crazy effects. Defensive poison? C'mon? Go *** yourself. The clown who made the poison system needs to grab Wrobel and GTFO!

    Even better.. just make the poisons PVE only.

    I hate hate hate that they added these poisons to the game, but more importantly the way they work and the power of them.

    They should of added a Antidote line that could be blended in all Tri pots .

    This would have balanced it out some and pleased Alchemists too

    Yup. They created a system of inherent power creep with the CP system, and now they're adding things like these poisons to try to combat that power creep.

    This is really going to hurt the no CP campaigns because they will also be getting this bandaid fix to the power creep, without actually having the power creep. I mean 60% increase to resource cost without even having the additional resources from the CP trees? Absolutely ridiculous.

    Which is insane as just a few updates ago they were making it so that fights lasted longer. Now with poisons its apparently all about making them faster. Talk about bi-polar.

    potion cooldown=45 seconds

    poison proc rate = 20% per light,heavy or weapon attack hit

    Just put an immunity timer in to match . Case settled .

    When I first started playing, I thought the "ravage" potions were poisons, because why would anyone in their right mind would purposefully kill themselves with a poisonous potion? And for a few times actually used them, until I realized, it's not the enemy that's poisoned - it's me! Really, they should just tweaked the ravage pots a bit and used them as poisons, would've been so much easier for us and them.
