ZOS... Please....

If you're gonna nerf and buff things up and down like a roller coaster, just because people are whining and crying on PvP... don't ruin it for PvE'ers... make the nerfs/buffs applicable ONLY during PvP! I'm beggin yah! It's really not that difficult of a concept, and everyone wins. I for one, am sick of having to change my whole build and stuff just because people in PvP wanted to complain. Like, I don't even DO PvP. Why am I being punished for something I don't even participate in? So if you're gonna reduce the shield times and make Critical surge heal for a flat value instead, among other changes, please, please... make these effects only happen during PvP, and in PvE environments, leave the skills in their current, agreeable state! Thank you.

You should just be glad that 90% of the developmental efforts for this game are PvE oriented and just move on with your life.

Really? Since when? I sure see a lot of posts on here of people complaining about skills in PvP, and then, a couple weeks later, what do I see? Oh, that the skills that were being complained about have been changed... Feels like a little less than 90% to me, just saying...

I agree. It would fix this quarterly cycle of rebalancing the skills. It should also make both sides happy as they get equal but seperate attention. We already have skills that have a different effect for PVP vs. PVE. Why they can't expand it to all skills is just beyond me.

They would not be the first MMO to do this.

    IC - 50% PvE content
    Orsinium - 100% PvE content
Thieves Guild - 100% PvE content
Dark Brotherhood - 100% PvE content

Changing a couple of skills is hardly comparable to entire DLCs in regards to development efforts. For instance, taking knockback off of WB compared to voice-acting/modeling an entire DLC quest line (and that is just a small part of it).

    just sayin...

But I do agree abilities can and should be PvP/PvE differentiated.

Battle Spirit was supposed to be that PVP only nerf applying to damage, shields, and healing. But apparently it's not enough and it won't be. It will keep going like this until every of our attacks only do 1 point of damage in which case light and heavy attacks will be the order of the day.

    It's gonna happen, you'll see...

Agreed, as pve stun changes to pvp snare.

They started to do it even in the Sorcerer skill tree (looks at Dark Magic ultimate).... Sooo, why can't you just continue to do that ZOS?? Lmao.. sorry if I sound fanatic or something, but seriously! It's so mind-bogglingly obvious of a solution that I just can't help but chuckle!

The content is almost all PvE, but the buffs/nerfs are in response to PvP and ruin many a PvE build. My Sorc made it to stage 7 of VMsA and will be on hold because of the PvP changes. Separate ability stats in PvE vs PvP would be fine for me. My shields never lasted much more than 6 seconds in PvP anyway.

It is extremely odd that a game that has no open world PvP, requiring you to join a campaign and enter a PvP specific zone never actually made their abilities in the game respond differently in this environment. I agree that skills should have different behaviors based on where they are used, say Cyrodil and IC as opposed to everywhere else.

But this would drastically reduce the bump in skill scroll sales they experience right after a DLC launch.

All the skill changes because of pvp make pve more difficult. I'm happy it's this way, the pve content is face roll easy. More challenging content is a good thing I think.
