Hurricane Animation Prefer 2.4.3 or Original?

According to the patch notes, the animation was changed "based upon feedback" yet I've seen very little, if any actual discussions here in the forums about it.

When I first saw the new Hurricane morph on PTS I was super excited, the animation and audio was great... and then they changed it with 2.4.3. Now you have all these rocks flying around you, making it more of a 'tornado' than 'hurricane'. I can't help but wonder how much of a visual distraction these new flying rocks will cause in battle? Personally I find them quite annoying.

So I'm curious, am I the only one who prefers the original Hurricane... let's find out. Perhaps if 'feedback' got it changed, perhaps more feedback can get it changed back to the original animation.

I voted other. I didn't see any feedback on it (Doesn't mean it doesn't exist)



However if they were checking Stam Sorc feedback I would at least appreciate a /lurk on the thread.... that way we know were not wasting our time.

as for the animation I am indifferent. I like them both equally.

It's pretty close for me ... but do like the new animation. Incidentally, I've run my Stam Sorc the most amount of time (vs. other characters) in PTS this patch ... is that normal??

They could make it turn me into a giant flying pink pony with a *** for a nose for all I care as long as they make it a useful skill to use.

The only downside for me is the white circle on the ground other than that the skill looks really good.

I like it it just needs less rocks its not a tornado and it honestly doesn't sound powerful enough to lift this many rocks, i should also add the rocks need a better graphic.

I like the new floating rocks - but I still dislike how it turns your character transparent & all electric (similar to how it is on Live).

It doesn't fit the new wind theme and is a bit too much effects.

Actually, those are two of the things I DO like about the animation... becoming transparent and maintaining the electric visual connection to the 'shock' theme of the skill tree. The audio sound is also awesome, the crackling, exploding sound as it grows larger... very cool.

Well, I created my character at level 49, didn't apply any CP, went into AD's Vile Manse public dungeon... approached mobs hit Hurricane and Critical Surge, held block and just let Hurricane mow them down.

Its more or less the same except now instead of being transparent white your transparent blue with some lightning type effects. Also they added some small rocks into the vortex thingy around you.

Quick question

how about annulment and hardened ward? if your putting so many points into weapon damage and stamina i guess your shields go down to almost zero ?

Anulmemt and hardened ward scale off magicka. Plus you can place points into the bastion star to make it stronger.

So yeah more magick = stronger wards.

More stam = weaker wards

But you can supplement with bastion if need be. Wont be alot but can help.
