Nerf nightblade gap closer

Gap closures should not be used as a primary source of dps, it should only be used as a gap closure. Either nerf the damage significantly or increase its cost significantly.

    Already done as of last patch on pts so be patient....plus when you get a random snare from nowhere you know what to do......block?

    Yes they should do that on top of nerfing either the damage significantly or increasing the cost significantly. The spam is worse then wrecking blow spam.

    That is a whole game concept design not "nerf nbs" again.

    If thats your main problem with the game now....

    If its not the cloack,is the gap closer,the ganking,the ultimates...this...that...

    Then ESO should be remodeled to another game. The whole combat design is about spamming,gapclosingdpsing,ccing and escapes.
    Not because of nbs...is because of the whole game.

    You want the nb gap closer nerfed...ok...will be nerfed in the next dlc. But the whole story of this game will be always like that...like chasing shadows...cause the shadow caster is the game as a whole. It is what it is. Since dk reign in early access all has been a rollercoaster.
    Point a to c,then b,then a again...then c...etcetc...

    Ambush already gets a damage reduction on the PTS, prob due to the upcoming poisons. Stealth -> stronger Ambush -> Empower -> Poison kicks in -> Incapacitating Strike -> ...

    Right now, it doesn't need anything else. Cuz you also have to consider the PvE side of things, where StamBlades are underperforming.

    This is why we need separate skills, traits, etc. for PvP and PvE. If something needs to be nerfed for PvP, they should be able to do it without harming PvE where there is no issue with the mentioned ability.

    I alrdy suggested many times for ZOS to use the Battle Spirit/Levelling in Cyrodiil for that. That the classes are made with PvE in mind, purely focused on that aspect so that Battle Spirit could be used to temp change skills & passives for the classes while the character is in Cyrodiil. Not just a general +5k HP and halving of everything, but class based changes specifically for PvP

    I understand that some of you are terrible players that think Teleport Strike is a main source of DPS, but raging at forum admins is not really going to accomplish anything.

    The point blank spam makes it even worse. Ambush, lotus blade must be adjusted to require a distance. Its ridiculous to let a gap closure be spammed at point blank, when there is no gap to close!


    The damage also needs to be reduced significantly or increase its cost significantly

    since they removed the root anyone who spams ambush is little more than free AP. if you get killed by such players, nerfing it's not gonna fix your problem.
