ZOS, The 64-bit Client Sound Issues Fix?

I really like running the 64-bit client as it is much more reliable than the 32-bit client. When I was running the 32-bit version, I was constanly getting "ESO Has Stopped Working" crashes. However, as many of us know, running the 64-bit client is inviting sensory overload with the hissing, weird random sounds, missing dialog audio, and other sound issues. @ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_RichLambert, are we ever going to get the 64-bit client out of beta?

I only run the 64 Bit version of the game now and occasionally have this issue. It's gone down quite a bit, but then again, I haven't been in Wrothgar where it was the worst. Hopefully they can get it resolved.

I had to stop using the 64-bit client entirely, the sound glitches were so frequent it just became completely irritating to play.

The "best" sound glitch I encountered was a skipping repeat of the screams daedra make when they die...which lasted intermittently for about 20 minutes.

Some amusing ones were the thunderbug who thought it was a nirnroot and the camel spit sound instead of crafting sounds while using various crafting tables.

Yep, that's what I'm afraid of. I've done some searching to see if any other games had sound issues with their 64-bit client but came up with nothing doing a google search, so whatever the problem is seems exclusive to ESO.

I only get sound issues when in PVP when there's maybe 40 or more people infight. As soon as I walk out of the fights, sound comes back? Anyone?

I am thinking a long time from now. They are terribly slow in fixing this audio issue. Glacially slow. This could be the next "lag fix" where it is perpetually a top priority that never gets fixed.

I have also noticed that when something is in "beta" it tends to stay that way. Chat bubbles. PC game pad support. Now, 64 bit client.

I still hear them but it's VERY rare nowadays. In a ocean of problems, at least my eardrums won't bleed anymore.

Live or PTS? They are all over Live, especially in the open world, which is why I use to 32-bit. On PTS, it is just easier to use the 32-bit.

Lets not forget that there are still cases of pink textures. Also, I no longer have the link, but there is an official thread dedicated to this, that is no longer being bumped.

The 64-bit client was supposed to be completed after Thieves Guild and set as the default in the launcher for those on a 64-bit OS, but clearly it is not ready for that. My question is, when will it be ready? Pink textures and audio hissing seem to be the remaining issues.

I was wondering that this morning when running it.

Still get the random hissing sounds from time to time as well as audio loops or music cutting randomly.

They'll get right on it as soon as they fix the lag in Cyrodiil.

Some of the sounds scare the hell out of me. Once I had just gotten through the load screen into a delve and only in my right ear I hear a whisper, no words, just a sigh. I actually looked over my shoulder to see if my husband had sneaked up behind me to give me a good scare!
