Dark Elf Magica Dragonknight ruined

Having read the patch notes for Dark brotherhood it tells me my Magica dragonknight Dark Elf who I've spent loads of time on. who's speciality is based on fire. Now in the new dlc all these skills are being changed to poison. My question is what now happens to him. He will become void, kaput, useless which ever way you want to put it. I'm not happy with this after paying £10 a month to be a ESO plus member I've waisted Crown points making him a Vampire and Experience Scrolls to help me doing pvp with him. I'm really not a happy chappie about this

Only the stamina morphs are changed to poison. The magicka morphs remain fire.

As others said, it won't affect Magicka Dunmer, but it's a bad thing for Stam Dunmer.

Check the tool tip of the skills you are currently using...do they cost stamina? If yes you are using the wrong ones anyway if you're a magika build.

It's only the Stamina morphs that are changed to poison damage

As a Mag DK, all of your skills "should" still be fire unless you took the wrong morph

OP, you're a magic DK using stamina skills.....ZOS couldn't damage your build any more than you've already damaged it yourself if this is the case.

@Jamesdouble00 in all seriousness, if you are unsure of something that's ok just admit you were wrong and we'll all move on.

You chose the wrong morphs, it's ok now you know you did and understand that you need to choose the magicka based one's. The good thing is you don't have to be upset that your dark elf will be useless anymore. Flame damage will still be in full effect.

The magicka morphs are staying fire. The stamina ones are changing to poison. If you are using stamina skills on a magika DK you are doing it wrong and are already underperforming.

Thanks for the reply of course you're right I use most of the magica skills but do sometimes used the stanima skills if I have plenty of stanima

So we still have a L2p issue here. If you are doing it right, you will have maybe 11k stamina on a magicka Dunmer DK DD on V16 while using blue buff food, which is barely enough to block inc damage from a group of trash mobs you will AoE-bombing.

To play your role on a serious level you need to decide if you wanne go for a stamina or a magicka build, even as a tank. Hybrid builds aren't really efficient in this game.
