On another forum post a user was highlighting difficulty with regular maelstrom arena and they didn't want to go cookie cutter sorc, and they also wanted to use pets... So I put this video together to help them pass maelstrom arena , explain what happens in veteran, show a few mechanics that can help immensely on both vet and regular. Figured this could also help some casual players and those looking for a few extra tips to hone their blades for veteran mode/regular mode.

    ZoS really needs to make summoner builds competitive, I tried one a long time ago and they are so lack luster. I wish pets did more damage to make up for the fact that you have to sacrifice 4 slots just to use them. There SHOULD be a trade off.......yet we don't have one. We lose 2 slots and have meh style damage.

    On point: very nice tutorial video for those having trouble with MA :)

    Unfortunately they won't be competitive till they actually make gear for them, and make CP effect pets. and even then at that point they may not be 100% viable.

    Because the target for dps is between 20-60k single target dps. As you can see in MA my dps is NOWHERE near that amount. and I'm running a full gold set of gear, completely specced into it.

    Can you Get through regular 4 man pledges with it. Yes, is it viable in pvp- definitely on live~(remains to be seen on the next patch) It's not viable for trials, and its extremely lack luster as a dps... so if I where hell bent on running pets I'd probably choose to tank.
