Does ZoS not care about pet builds?

so ive bin looking and trying to find and make a good pet build but every where i go i see when ever your doing anything that matter dont use pets the only pet set is v12 and there damg scales off max mag? it seems like they just dont care about these pets they give them "buffs" so small and meaningless why even bother? i was realy excited to try a pet build now.......

Pet builds, unfortunatly, are a niche build at the moment. doesnt mean they cant be relevant, but the vast majority of the so called 'elite' players wont give you the time of day if you say you run a pet build.

Pets have indeed lost most of their power due to the sorcerer nerfing problems that, even more so due to absolute neglect, but that is not to say you cannot have fun with them

personally, i run a vampire sorcerer, so ive had to recraft my builds nearly every update or so.

My Build as of now: right now i uses the drain health morph that grants ult, along with a few other things that help generate ult, and focus my time on getting that atronach out

My pets are on both back and for bars,

both bars are currently destro staves, the for being lightning, back fire

the for bar consists of liquid lightning, shock clench, and conjured ward

back bar elemental susceptiblity, fire clench, and drain health ((the ult morph))

Now this build works on DoT, since shock and fire clench DoT's stack, the LL is there both for the area DoT and for group battles, to activate its synergy,

I recommend the pets be one dps and one heal, or both heal, but you need one pet at least to be the heal morph, this grants you a little survivability

now you wont need to use the weaken staff ability often, but for those harder to kill bosses, tacking that on along with all the DoT and pets, plus the atronach, will have it fall quickly.

Generating ultimate with this build is a tad easy, just tap your light attack, then drain health, this helps that ult gen quick.

the shock clench is a decent spammable AoE DoT, careful of resource managment though, it can drain you if you are not careful.

you can use most any item set with this build, its niche so i made it to work with most, but i use 5set of seducer and 5set of bahara's curse (or however you spell it)) you need to have alot of magicka resource for this

if you rather have a different Ult, replacing drain health with crystal frags is not a bad idea.

I crafted this build with the DB changes in mind, but have yet to test it on PTS, so take this with a grain of salt. Ive been using this build in Vet and Normal dungeon runs, have not had any complaints so far, however again, take with a grain of salt, its rare for random groups to talk when things go well
