I wanna share my vMA story

When i attempt to finish this arena i just wanted a 2h Maul or Axe with any trait ;

• Total +25 Runs
• Flawless Title
• 5 Board and Sword
• 2 Dagger
• 2 Resto Staff
• 2 1h Mace
• 2 Bow
• 6 Rings
• Last 2 Day 8 runs

Here what i get today as a drop from this arena after for finish it 3 times ;







Oh wait ZOS is adding %50 chance and all traits right ? I am sorry but i am sure my 2h will be training with this RNG.

If I get a VMA weapon in training, I will quit the game and never come back. ZOS either doesn't understand or doesn't give darn. This is such a slap in face to drastically expand a blooted loot table, which just happens to gate the BIS weapons behind a buggy solo grind fest in an MMO. Somebody should lose their job. If I messed up this bad, I wouldn't expect to go to work on Monday.

I believe they mentioned adding other traits and specifically mentioned Nirnhoned as a possibility. I have never seen anything to confirm traits like training. Hope they dont actually do that.

I did have a buddy say his buddy got a sturdy scathing piece from ICP on PTS. Hard to call that a reliable source, but it does worry me a bit. Scathing in any trait but divines is decon material, nothing more.

I said myself i should focus my work and do it only once this week and I dont really wanna cry about this but... I have no idea whats wrong.

It sucks but you're gonna have to run it a bunch more times to play the trait game. I think I was at 100 something runs before I got what I wanted.

Does that set work with the destro staff spell that deals all 3 types of damage because if so then that's nothing to cry about...I'll gladly take it if you don't want it.

If they put training on any v16 or 160cp gear it is an obvious clouding of loot pools with no excuse or reasoning otherwise. Nobody will ever work for a temporally used trait on end game gear. If they do this it is worse than when they added white junk loot with no value or decon to containers which was one of the many times they watered down your drink.

RNG is quite possibly the worst thing to hit gaming, ever. The distinct possibility that you can grind content until you die and still not receive what you want is daunting. Sure it keeps players playing, but in many situations so would giving players rewards that they can use.

I have about 70 runs maybe.
3 leaderboard a week.
Only thing I wanted is daggers.

Got my first dagger last week with defending.

Anyway, proud of you Viz Too bad this rng crap.

Succession is garbage. Tried it on a sorc, and its not better than crafted gear. I do plan to try it with scathing once my Siphonblade gets bumped to max level, but I am not hopeful.

VMA RNG is the worst thing in that game when it comes to end game gearing.
The frustration and disappointment in that final chest will makes every serious players wanting those weapon to quit the game at some point , it's not sane to aim for 500+ runs knowing that it's still not guarantee to have your weapon

It's to the point now, I've said screw it. Lol. I mean I really, really, really, badly want to obtain Maelstrom staves. But, at over 100 runs; with no staves appearing in the final chest? As in not a single staff ever dropping for me? I've essentially quit TESO:TU until the DB launch on console. I've actually had it. And you know what? It feels good. It's a damn shame something that was intended to be fun, instead made me (as well as numerous others) dread the game. Why? Because bad RNG. So until DB launch: Witcher 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Smash Bros., and GTA Online are my new buddies.

I want to be optimistic with DB, but I fear that VMA will still be the same ***.

Finally got my 2h Mace after second run with my Stam Dk.
I did +50 runs i believe for just this...

RNG is to keep PvE players busy.. hard to keep content locusts busy otherwise.. no team in the world is able to crank out new content at a pace that satisfies the hardcore.. so you "extend" the content by using bad RNG.

Pity for us PvP players that some of that gear is pretty powerful (as in BiS) and only attainable via content we don't like. At least it allows me to blame any lost fight on gear difference!!
