How you rate ESO Tamriel Unlimited today ?

After news was released that veteran ranks were in fact being removed , My entire guild from Beta and Pre Launch has started returning to the game . This was the biggest issue for them in the past . As they have returned , I've enjoyed hearing them say how much they like all the new zones and content that has been added and how much they really have missed this game . So my question to the community is , on a 5 Star rating system , how many stars would you give the game today ?

I'm giving it 4 Stars currently because it's the best MMO out in my opinion but still needs some bugs and fixes desperately . Still , 4 Stars is very high score !

So how many would you give and would you recommend friends to join or come back ?

it would be 4 stars for the content, but I have to take 1 star for greediness and another for lack of communication - so 2 stars.

Edit: Well, with that said - when DB will be out, it will be 1 star more, because ESO+ is finally worth something. So in the end it will be 3 stars. It could be more, if they would not discriminate females with their decision to not feminize armor and costumes anymore, and if they would be more reasonable with pricing in the crown store. Furthermore communication is bad - there is pretty much no feedback from them, other then PR in their live show. We do not need PR lingo, we need communication with the community - two-way communication.

So this is why I gave it 2 stars now and 3 stars after DB will be released.

Id give it 4 out 5. Not perfect but pretty good. I wouldnt give any game 4 stars tho. At least no MMOs.

i rate ESO a solid 2 it sucks probably the lamest game i have ever played. the graphics are so trash it looks like minecraft. and the weapons are trash they are so weak and look like noodles. dont even get me started on the armor it looks like something in a dungeon defenders game. this game has no story and is useless to the player.

I'll consider it if they fix my Khajiit's whiskers from disappearing all the time in certain helmets

Really sort of depends. Id give the pve side of the game a 4. And the pvp side a 2.

So if i was talking to friends that love lore and stories id highly suggest it. But if it was some of my more desicated pvp playing friends id probably tell them it is still in rough shape and may not be worth the purchase price.

In fact, TESO and GW2 are (and have been for a while) my go-to fantasy-based MMO's (with other MMO's covering other genres for me).

Id have to go with a 4.5/5. I enjoy this game a LOT. The lore, the questing, the combat, crafting system, yes even the guild trader system, the AvAvA, everything.

Sure there are minor annoyances here and there which you'll find in ANY game (which is why you'll most likely never see me give a perfect score unless we are comparing one game vs another strictly, always room for improvement!), but I have been through many many games and MMOs and on the current market I enjoy this one the most by FAR!

Plus I feel it is generally going in the right direction as well which is always a HUGE plus!

I give it 3 out of 5,good game the potential to be a great 5/5 game, ZOS needs to address issues faster with lag, broken exploitable game mechanics, they need to take a tougher stance on banning exploiters.

I saw Angry Joe's review of it and the game has come a LONG way since then.

Definitely 4 Stars considering where ESO used to stand.

Considering I have well over 2000 (probably over 3000 now) hours spent in the game, I'd say at least a 4.

Cyrodiil is still broken after almost 2 years? I do not have much faith in it's future.

Cosmetics/Armor design, clipping and issues are blantaly obvious and their system for designing them are crud.

Cadwells is worse thing I've ever played.

DB notes show things may be looking brighter but still a lot of the vanilla game needs fixing.

I don't usually rate games based on what they are but how much fun I can have in them (If you get it hahaha) and I can say for sure - with hundreds of hours in - I'm really enjoying the hell out of the game

A strong 3.5-4 stars out of 5. If you like fantasy game lore and PvE then ESO is great. PvP wise, besides some tweaking and balancing needed, and of course the need to continue working on the lag issue that pops up, the game is there. All the foundation of a solid and fun MMO is there.

~2. Though to be fair the game itself might as well get a 4.5/5 but ZOS as a company and the way they've been managing the game, the issues that arise, the promises they give and communicating with the community about all of the above gets a spectacular 0.5/5 so it kinda balances out.

I'm in the "log in, feed horses, chat to people, log off" stage right now for the most part.

It's not perfect but I enjoy it. Lots of progress made since launch and I think it's steered in the right direction content wise. Need more endgame PVE and some fixes in Cyrodiil and it'll be perfect. I love the Elder Scrolls universe even more than I love MMO's.

I give it 3 stars as there's many things I don't like but there's so much more that I do and playing anything resembling a TES game with my friend is just plain awesome.

I agree with what was said above about the greed and other issues which leaves a sour taste in an otherwise sweet experience.
