A fair amount of PvE content added (well, not including end-game content, and certainly nothing remotely challenging to anyone over lvl 15).

PvP - seems to be herds of zergs like in the Walking Dead since they implemented equipment that can AOE mass murder other characters.

    Let's see, what else?

A few exploits and scams aside, pretty much business as usual.

Two new DLCs have been added, Orsinium and Thieves Guild, with Dark Brotherhood coming at the end of May. With that, over eight new crafting motives, an entirely new trial with more Khajiit lore, and they are working on making normal and veteran modes of the previous trials, starting with Sanctum Ophidia. That will be implemented in Dark Brotherhood.

Speaking of Dark Brotherhood, that update will allow you to buy more character slots and change your character's name.

You word it as if this is some great thing. I have played countless MMOs and most had at least 5, typically more, end-game raid zones. This game has ONE. It amazes me there are any "raiders" that even play this game.

If you don't care about this and love to RP/solo PvE, the game has a lot to offer though.

If I worded it incorrectly, then I apologize, as all I meant to say was that it had a new trial with its own story, compared to the three previous trials which are connected to each other. Where the Craglorn trials were about the Celestials, Maw of Lorkhaj is a new story about the Dro-m'Athra. That was all I meant by it (though as a fan of Khajiit, I DO think it is great), and you will have to forgive me that I didn't word it perfectly, English being my third language.

I do feel somewhat provoked that you take one tiny word from my sentence and misunderstand it like you did, though. ESO wasmy first MMO, and out of the other MMOs I have tried since, only ESO managed to make the trials actually entertaining and not feel like a job. This might have to do with the guild and friends I play with, most likely, but still. I do not like that you criticize my wording just because you have more experience and thus apparently a superior opinion over mine. ESPECIALLY not when it might not even BE my opinion, you just took one PART of one sentence of a reply, prejudged me and my opinions and replied just to disagree with the opinion you put in my mouth.

Also, this thread is about summarizing for someone what has happened the last five months. Yet you felt the need to take one sentence of my reply and use it to be negative and go off topic. I get it, ESO isn't perfect, I literally see ten new threads a day on this forum just to say that in various rude, immature, whiny and rarely logical ways. Let us just agree to disagree, because whatever you think about trials that I might disagree with based on different experriences and expectations, this thread is NOT where we should discuss it, out of respect of the OP who just wanted a simply answer to a simple question.

Also, if I misunderstood what you were saying and took it out of context, my bad, but that is certainly how I felt reading your reply.

Basically it is an MMO with 1 activity that you need a group of more than 4 to do (PvE wise).

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but the way you say/write things does matter, regardless of how many languages you use. I can only go by what you wrote, not by what you meant.

Ohhh so salty. ESO has 4 trials, each of which has a hardmode variant, one of which has an entirely separate veteran version, and and one of which is soon to have a veteran version as well. And before you start in with the "oh but it's too easy and underleveled" nonsense, remember that every other MMO retired old raids with new DLCs too.

Honestly, if you're so mad about the raids in ESO, then why are you still playing it? I think you enjoy it more than you imply. You know, salt for the sake of salt.

One might also argue that a "true" raider is not just there for the content, but for the friends/guildmates running with them and for the coordinated group experience. You can have a bad raid and still have a good time, you know (or at least you should know, considering how you've played "countless" MMOs).

I took a break for about 8 months, came back recently as well.

Lots of recent changes, but DB is dropping very soon with even more new stuff. Best way to experience it is download the PTS client from your launcher and create Dark Brotherhood PTS Template character (will be max level with at least 300 champion points).

Most important I'd say is removal of veteran ranks coming soon, replacing with account wide champion point system. Make sure you have at least 160 champion points by the time DB DLC launches, and then any of your characters above level 49 will be instantly boosted to max level.

Other than that, lots of new sets, poison making, some changes to Dragonknight stamina abilities (will be poison instead of fire), stam nightblade abilities will use disease, and if you are ESO Plus subscriber you will get a magical infinite bag that can store unlimited crafting mats.
