Need Suggestion - Stam Sorc // High DPS - PvP - Solo Char

Hey Community,

as the discussion title already says, im looking for a suggestion on what class I should play.

I actually have tried so many different combinations now of classes and races and gamestyles and gear choices.
Since I do not have that much time to play cause of my job, I would like to use every second of my ESO gaming useful into a char that I will keep "forever".

For now my main char is a V4 Templar Healer - using it mostly for PvE.

I would like to find a class + race for me, which I can use mostly for solo level grinding - since I do not have that much time and would like to get on higher level as soon as possible - and which will be badass in the end for PvP.

Ive created tons of chars, played them until level 15 - 20 and once I feel uncomfortable I just remove them. Ofc I still have some of my chars but got no interest to play them.


Anyways..


I now am thinking of creating a Stam Sorc (Redguard). Ive been watching some videos and have seen some gameplay ingame. I dont know why but it looks kind of "badass" to me.
Still, it is questionable for me, why you would go for Stamina - while playing a Magicka class like a Sorc ?
What is the main effect of taking such a descision?
Like, I will go for example 2h Sword + Bow - but what about all the Sorc spells? I ofc will only use 2 or 3 of them , but then again I ask myself:
If i skill everything into Stam - will I have enough Magicka for the rest?
Will I not be a onehit for everyone, since my survivability is low? I do not have any healing spells while being a Stam Sorc.. ?

Also: What type of gear should I use? I mean its logical that I should pick the leather gear, cause of the Stamina. Although, the most Stam Sorcs Ive seen were wearing Heavy Armor..

If you have another suggestion than the Stam Sorc for a "Fun - PvP - Solo Leveling - High Dps" - Class , please let me know!
I guess its going to be the Stam NB then, but please feel free to explain me your choice!

Stam sorcerer is pretty good in solo pve and kinda hard work in solo PvP, although it can be made to work it is far from easy. They are also a pretty fast and furious play style, and a blast to level. Also at low levels you don't really need to worry too much about magicka - you'll generally have enough but there are a number of class skills that will become progressively less useful the higher level and more stamina biased you become.

Generally the basis for most stamina sorcerer builds is critical surge which provides a weapon damage buff and healing based on critical damage. This is normally enough to keep you alive in pve content if you build around it and select complimentary skills (which is why a lot of stamina sorcerers use 2handed for critical charge and a guaranteed heal). The other thing they have going for them is good mobility with streak and a mobility buff from boundless storm.

However there are changes coming with DB, to various weapon and guild lines and there are changes expected for stamina sorcerers that should make them more competitive in general.
