So I'm downloading PTS, does the percentage done even mean anything with the way it downloads? My download just went from 40 to 60 percent after downloading and applying something that was only 50 MB. And before the it only got to 23% after downloading 43 GB of the game. Seems like these numbers are all over the place, and don't really help at all when trying to figure out how much is left. Is there a way this works that actually makes sense? Or is it all just random numbers?

✭✭✭✭✭Their launcher has this odd inefficient way of downloading patches in segments, apply that segment, then reset your download speed for the next segment. I don't know why it does it that way instead of downloading the entire patch all at once then apply it, but that's how it goes.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭The download has something like 6 segments, depending on what needs to be downloaded, and it goes a bit like this:
0 - 20%: download Depot, ~40GB
20 - 33%: unpack and verify Depot
33 - 50%: download VO_xx, ~10GB
50 - 67%: unpack and verify vo_xx
67 - 85%: download Game, ~5GB
85 - 100%: unpack and verify Game
