Patches & Maintenance

If you are going to do patches or maintenance, you need to do it during the scheduled hours. Stop doing it on a different morning. People are prepared to not be on game Monday mornings (or whatever it is in their timezone). People are not happy when they get their stuff out of the way then and end up running into a patch the comes at an off time. I realize that this could happen from time to time. Things do. However, it now looks like a trend. You specifically said that Tuesday was a one time thing. Has that changed? Pick a day. Pick whatever day you want, but stick to it so we can anticipate it.

So you'd rather they just allow exploiting and cheating to go on even if they know about it.....which would have resulted in even more bans than what occurred?

Would you rather they handle things as they see fit?

*Its llike asking the police to not pull people over because its a high traffic time.....perhaps the people should stop breaking the law and perhaps the gamers should stop exploiting and cheating. This one is due to us...and not ZOS

Kind of wish they swung the ban hammer a little harder. It was something that people were clearly exploiting multiple times in a row knowingly. I actually do wish they would have waited and watched. Then clear out the trash from the game.

I understand why they did it the way they did. I just find that kind of flagrant use of exploits deplorable.

The unscheduled maintenance isn't what the OP was discussing.

This "one time Tuesday maintenance" has now went on for 3 maintenance's in a row I do believe.

Hello everyone,

This week’s PC/Mac maintenance has been rescheduled, and will not be happening during our regular maintenance times. We will be bringing both the PC North American and European megaservers offline for maintenance on Wednesday, 5/4 at 6:00am EDT / 11:00 BST to publish patch 2.3.10. Both servers will be brought back online within a few hours, and the patch notes will be published near the end of maintenance.

Agreed. 72 hours is not gonna stop future occurrences.

Every now and then, they move the maintenance away from Monday and call it a "one-time change". But excluding the emergency exploit maintenance, the past 3 or 4 consecutive regular maintenances have been move away from Monday, which is starting to make the "one-time change" sound somewhat hollow.
