Khajiit Stamina DK vs Dunmer Magicka DK meta after Dark Bros. Patch

It looks like that the hold of Stamina DK is shifting from Dunmer.
So I gonna put them together and compare.

Dunmer Magicka DK
7% extra fire damage+1.7213% extra damage due to max Magicka increase.
Innate fire resistance
6% extra stamina
Khajiit Stamina DK
4-11% overall DPS increase depending on critical damage multiplier
10% extra damage on stealth hit
10% Stam regen + 20% extra health regen

They are pretty evenly stacked, but Stamina dk will more damage due to weapon damage values.

Bosmer is also another viable choice with Stamina DK with a small amount of disease and poison resist, slight increase to Stamina and health and 11% extra stamina regen at the cost of the DPS increase and health regen.

I suppose Bosmer, Redguard, Khajiit are a little stronger than Dunmer stam DK now, especially for ganking in PVP.

But Dunmer has more flexibility for switching back and forth between stamina and magicka builds.

Realistically, the magicka dk dunmer will always be the best.

Like anything in life, when there is a champion for so long people just want them dethroned haha

Why do I keep seeing people bashing Magicka DK's lol. They are in a really good place right now...

Due to the flip-flop between magick/stamina buffs with each DLC if you go with Dunmer then whenever the balance shifts you have the perfect race to cope

If anyone has a cause to complain this patch, it's a stamina Dunmer DK. Now they can obviously just switch to magic, but Dunmer basically went from the best at both to the best at magic, and probably the 4th or 5th best in stamina. In other news, I definitely rolled a Khajiit DK last night.

As for Magic DKs, as stated above, they are in a really good spot at the moment for PVE DPS, but the pushback is that almost none of the new fights are stack and whack. DK DPS takes a big hit in a mobile fight. The other issue is that they lack an execute. This historically really wasnt much of an issue, but now that we are seeing execute phases that last several minutes in the new trials, you are seeing classes with ranged executes (templars and NBs) take over the top DPS spots.

For PVP, I could see Stam DK becoming the new FOTM, but we will see.

This one has been a Kat DK since day one. That's my main. Loved the tail, and playing something non-typical. It's hurt me since game launch. Never having been the great DPS DK class, always knowing Dunmer was better for magicka, always knowing Khajiti was never ever pick as a class to run on Stam DK builds.

Maybe now this one has finally found his nip!!! lol
