✭✭✭✭✭To be fair, though, they announced this change before TG hit the PTS. Then we had a month of TG on the PTS. And this is the 2nd time that vDSA has been the weekly since TG hit Live. So this isn't exactly a new change.
That having been said, the difference between the purple and gold Footman's is more or less a rounding error in the grander scheme of things. (And personally, I prefer a 2p Blood Spawn, 5p Tava, and 5p Ebon setup--no Footman's--for maximum group utility, esp. since the CP changes in TG make it so much easier now to mitigate damage without Footman's and without capped resistance.)PC/NA ― GM of Nightfighters

✭✭✭✭✭Yes, dsa weekly drops the same Alcosh/Remedy/Dancer/Bastion sets as any other trial.
Edit: But those pvp sets you've mentioned are not removed - here's a proof.
