How can I calculate my true DPS on PS4?

As the threads are full of talk about how much DPS you need for this and that, I want to know if there is a way for console players to actually work out how much DPS we are putting out?
My understanding is that DPS is different to weapon damage/critical damage/strike chance and takes other things into account. For example, if I use arrow volley on a mob, switch to a melee weapon, put up my DragonKnight standard and attack while the arrows are still falling, my true DPS should take into account ALL of the damage I am inflicting at the same time.
There are probably add-ons for PC that tell you what your DPS is but can anyone tell me if there is a way for us console players to find out?
