Curing werewolf, 2 Options?

Why are there 2 options when getting cured?
One was 62g, the other 621g, tho there doesn't seem to be any difference. The more expensive one didn't refund skill points or anything, so I have no idea what the difference is. Vampirism only has 1 option.

You don't get skill points back, that's normal. You would have to do a skill point reset first before getting cured. Otherwise when you acquire Werewolf again those skills spent will still be there.

I think the real question is why you want to 'cure' lycanthropy at all.
    We are not a sickness.
We are sentient beings with just as much right to life as Men, Mer or Beastfolk.

62 gold to cure after a bite, but before turning into a werewolf.

620 gold after you made the werewolf quest and embraced being a daedric fleataxi.

And curing doesn't refund skillpoints or resets skilllines. If you are infected again, you can use
all of it again. Same aplies to vampires. The whole skills just get disabled.
For a real reset you have to to reset all of them.
Once I was a healer. Then I took a Wrobel to the knee.

I think I had the same issue TS is asking about.
Couple of weeks ago I had my character bitten and turned into werewolf, but before I left Hunting Ground solo "dungeon" EU server crashed.
Few hour later when I was able to login I found that my werewolf character still has the original disease (which should be removed once you are granted with werewolf skills line).

When I've maxed all werewolf skills and decided to return character to normal state the priest of Arkay offered me both options - cure the disease and cure the werewolf curse.
I've assumed that this is a result of server crash, but now I am not so sure.
Still this problem (bug?) only costs me 62 extra gold coins.

I'm aware you don't points back, It was just the most logical explanation for there being a more expensive option. Also, I've been full on wolf for a few weeks, both options were available,, so unless its bugged, it rules out the theory about it being for infection only.

I do however think Haxnschwammer is correct, and that it's bugged since the cheaper one specifically says "Sanies Lupinus" and the other one says "Werewolf"

Also, got cured cause I'm a magicka build, just wanted the dyes xD
