Instant Respawn in Imperial City Intentional? (PS4 NA)

For what feels like a month now, the above grounds have been glitched in Imperial City. I call it glitched, but maybe it's intentional? At first, I wasn't complaining about having 40 minute vet levels, but its taken a toll on the market. The prices of anything requiring keys has dropped. I'd practically pay someone to take my xivkyn motifs. It doesn't feel healthy for the economy and the game. Maybe this issue hasn't been brought to ZOS's attention? Maybe people have been keeping it on the DL, since only a small subset of the ESO population know about it and exploit it? I'm really thinking it's a glitch since it works only in some campaigns (skull of corruption confirmed). Please fix this, ZOS. It's been a month now.

I have a short video on twitch about it to offer proof. I also would rather the masses knew about it, rather than the select few. It's creating a level/CP gap.

Thats interestig, I was in scourge on xb1 na and i found a few mobs just respawning like that so im assuming its on xbox as well. Scourge is pretty populated to your point so i suppose it could be only on high pop campaigns

I noticed this on xbox the 10 min I was there before freezing. I was also in Skull.

I would say grind your heart out, but.... Maybe the freezing is the fix for this?

I was in Scourge (ps4/NA) and they were not respawning like that. However, in Skull, Chillrend and Azura's they DO respawn right away. Has ZOS ever commented on this? I would love to know if it was intentional or not. I hope it stays this wasy though. Makes farming so much easier and makes PvP that much more challenging

In the last pc patch notes they said they have now changed respawn mechanic in IC. It used to be the more people in campaign the quicker the respawn but now its been changed to a fixed timer.

@Buffler does that mean that it's intentional? even though it's only working that way in some campaigns?

It makes it nearly impossible to open up chests when the adds instantly respawn after killing them. This is just one side effect that I can think of that feels 'game breaking' and 'glitchy'.

Seems intentional because the goal is for everyone to have a similar crowd vs it only spawning when lots of ppl are there. Now it spawns a lot all the time and it's grind able if u can stay alive.

Maybe tho it's too fast
