....it means all the original coders have left ZOS and the 2nd generation is just winging it from notes that were left.

For me it is only the 32-bit eso client that crashes to login screen. The 64-bit eso client (eso64.exe in the same folder as eso.exe) seems more stable, in this regard.

Don't suppose anyone has any ideas on how to fix this?

Game has been running without a problem at all for me since last summer. But as of yesterday, it mysteriously began crashing to the login in screen (generally with no error code) constantly. When I first log in I can play for 20 min or so before the first crash, but after that I crash within 5 minutes or so each time I login. (Tried the 64 bit and had the same problem)

I have been searching for an answer for hours and tried all of the suggested things regarding my firewall and router... nothing. No problems with any other game or internet speeds.

I'm pretty upset because this game is how I unwind after work and it helps with my anxiety. But from my searching it looks like these threads have cropped up for years and no answers were ever really found. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate hearing them.

This is happening to me as well. It is SO disturbing, especially in Cyrodiil, as you can imagine.

Check your system thoroughly for signs of over-heating, as well as a failing graphics card or memory stick. Have you made any changes, such as Windows updates, drivers, or addons? It may simply be a server-side issue (especially if you are on the NA server) but it's always worth checking your system with symptoms like yours. You could also try a system restore to a couple of days or more before, i.e. when the game was stable.

My game crashed & I couldn't get back in even after restarts ( yet 2 friends were on steam ).

Steam deleted my entire game OP, R.I.P. 60GB ( all I have now is a 15kb file).

What I am trying to tell you guys is: Don't worry, someone always has it worse than you
