Hey man, well imo it is DC

BUT I will give a non biased answer to you based on my personal experience since beta:

AD: best & biggest community for low lvls ( but also the most "new" players )
DC : best all round "balance"
EP : best community for high lvl stuff ( you will never be short on help @ The Rift, Eastmarch ect. )

The explanation for "balance" is DC can be relied on to come and help if you use zone chat.
Something I have found lacking in high lvl zones in AD and lacking in low lvl EP zones, yet they are always willing to help in DC no matter what lvl the zone.

Keep in mind all factions have very PRO players, all factions have friendly players ect.

My recommendation is pick a colour you like ( yellow, blue, red ) look at the symbol and if you like it, have a look at the campaigns over different times ( AD usually cap during the mornings, day, sometimes prime time ), (DC usually cap during the night, sometimes prime time ) & EP sometimes cap

Most people who farm IC farm in DC zone so it might be a good idea to keep that in mind if you want to make money it's easier to get there being DC...

Some things to consider: VR will fall away soon... You can use the armour of your other chars so you can just reroll and if you reach the right lvl or just VR 1 and wait a few months you can use the gear. There is a 80-100% exp boost atm with the cake.
No zone is locked and you can go anywhere so the zone lock thing is not really an issue anymore. You can go from lvl 3-50 in 2 days or less with this exp boost. If you buy the explorer pack/ pre-ordered the game you can use any race any alliance so no alliance should lock your choice ( I recommend this ).

Here's what I am about to do : I am about to delete an AD char and make a new DC one either tonight or Wednesday night, why? Well because AD's whole alliance is not appealing to me. AD is kind of like Rome, in 2014 it was at the height of it's empire and it ruled and dominated the land. It truly was the best, yet AD is now basically the Western Roman empire, it has fallen from grace... ( best comparison I could give ).

I think you just need to find a good guild. I'll be honest with you my guild at the moment has been lacking active members like I had in January & February now since TG launched basically... We use to be 40+ on weekends prime time, we are down to 20+ online so I need to start recruiting again so I know your feeling man cause just how hard it is to find a good guild with active ppl it's just as hard finding active members
