ZOS please start making costumes in a range of colors.

I know, I know, you've said you're "looking into" letting us dye the costumes we purchase on the Crown Store and truly that is the ideal. We ALL want that. But let's be honest for a second... we ALL know that's so far down on your "to do" list that most of us will be drawing Social Security before it happens. Whereas it wouldn't be difficult at all for you to simply offer the costumes in a range of colors. If you want to be greedy you could sell them individually, so that if, say, I wanted both the pink and the green version of the dancing girl costume, I'd have to purchase one in each color individually. OR you could actually do something awesome that shows some appreciation for your customer base and let each costume have at least 3 color choices. Either way, you'll make money and I, and many others, will be very happy. It is also very frustrating to see these costumes on NPCs in colors I like FAR more than the only color I, as a paying PLAYER, can get.

Supposedly we're getting this one in red and it looks amazing. But why can't we ALSO have it in this pretty blue?




I promise you that you would sell TONS more costumes if you'd just offer them in different colors! And if you ever DO get around to making them dyeable the only people who might complain are those who bought one in every color...and that's only going to happen if you're greedy and sell them individually rather than the way you should, which is to include at least 3 different color options per costume.

Long story short, I WANT that GREEN dancing girl costume and a pirate costume with a BLACK shirt! Make it so ZOS! Make it so!

I honestly don't think we'll ever get them anyway Gid, sorry. With ZoS's obvious desire to now do everything as cheaply as they possibly can (see my thread on their decision to no longer bother with female models for armor) regardless of how shoddy it makes their product look, figure the odds of them REALLY improving the Crown Store costumes.

yea... I know @MornaBaine ... The direction of this game... I dunno... For everything they do "right" they do half a dozen things "wrong."

I just want to know who saw these effects and said "Yea... that's good. Release that." Do they just not care? Are they not paying attention? What is going on over at ZOS that these sorts of things make it out to the public.

Oh I intend to keep asking for it. I just have no faith in ZOS anymore and doubt we'll ever see it. And in the meantime it just grinds my gears to keep seeing NPCs in these costumes in way better color options than those available to us who PAY for them!

There was talk about making costumes dyeable but it falls under NO ETA so don't hold your breath.

Exactly my point actually. And even if they ARE "looking into it" it's so far down on the priority list that we'll be lucky to see it 4th quarter of 2018.

The NPC you have in that very first picture had me sighing when I first saw her in Hew's Bane. We FINALLY got a fix for the Song of the Night outfit for Khajiit player models, and then they go and shove a green (and much better looking) version of Whisperweft Gala in my face. I said the same thing that they should have a few color presets AT LEAST if we're not getting the dyes soon.

Of course costume dyes is ideal. But I agree that it would be Very Nice with those single costumes if they came with three color variations, just like you get three variations on the other costume packs. I’ve had very little interest in the costumes due to them never seeming to be in a color I actually like. I’d be a lot more likely to want to buy them if there were some color options.
