Awhile ago you stated that in between quarters would be new dungeons/content? Why haven't we seen any of these and will we ever? Thieves guild besides maw turned out to be a let down and there should be more content in the game then one new trial, outdated dungeons/trials, and broken pvp. A new dungeon every 1-1.5 months that was fun, challenging, and worthwhile would be great to keep people busy, and to keep people playing your game. To wrap it up, pls add new dungeons every 1-1.5 months.

    Well, you know politicians and their promises, anything to get elected... Erm... I mean: devs and their promises, anything to sell boxes :P

    I guess they realized it would be impossible for them to create content at that rate.

    Well, they added 2 new dungeons with IC... why not some with TG? Unless that's what the trial took place of. Many of the dungeons don't even have vet mode.

    When have they ever said that they will put out content between each quarter dlc. If it was before buy 2 play than what ever they said about content is irreverent now but if they said that after buy 2 play change. I would love to see some info about that.

    I don't remember them saying that; they said there would be regular gameplay updates between DLCs, but nothing about there being new content drops.

    They definitely never said that.

    There will always be incremental patches between content, but they won't be adding content. That's what DLC's are for.

    I am also pretty sure they never said that.

    Between quarters we get patches and no new dungeons or content. The purpose of the quarterly updates is to drop dungeons and content (largely for the quarterly DLC) and other changes too big for the incremental patches.

    Removing vet ranks with CP system, a year has passed and nada.
    Spell college/crafting - looks like it's not going to happen.

    I want them working on fixes and performance in between. A DLC every quarter is pretty ambitious as it is.

    Hopefully they don't start adding content inbetween expansions. I'm having a hard time keeping up as it is.

    We need more fixes between large patches, not new content that introduces need for more fixes.

    They are going to remove vet ranks. Yes it's been a year+, but this is not a small change and involves most of the in game systems. So changing one line of code won't do it. It really is a massive change and that takes a ton of time to accomplish and test.

    Rich Lambert said as late as 1st week of March in the "tales of tamerial" podcast (prob spelled it wrong) that while jewelry crafting is something they want to do it is not currently being worked on. It was episode 100 if anyone wants to check it out.

    Just to be clear, there are a lot of things that they say they want to do. That does not mean they are ever going to do it. Never interpret these as anything other than just a positive social response about a negative. When they say "we would like to add this" they are essentially saying "no, we are not adding this."

    IIRC, they promised major updates every six weeks (or was it eight?) at launch, but trying to do that just resulted in late content that was still rushed and buggy, making players pissed at both the lateness and the bugs. They dropped that promise at TU.

    I think the term "major" is highly subject to interpretation.

    While they did promise updates every 4-6 weeks, and kept very close to a 6 week schedule through the first five, they were not really "major" in the same sense as the three DLC. Craglorn was split between two updates, and the other three updates were nothing like Craglorn.

    Yeah that sounds about right; jewellery crafting is something that they said they want to do but have no current plans for. So it has been mentioned, but they've never actually said they will do it.

    Yeah, their definition of "major" is basically "new content", regardless of the scale of that content. The pre-TU "major updates" were:
    1. Lower Craglorn, 2 Trials, VR12
    2. Vet CoH
    3. Armor Dyes and Guild Heraldry
    4. Upper Craglorn, 1 Trial, DSA, VR14
    5. Vet CoA, Pledges, Writs
    6. Justice System, Champion System
