How tanks are needed these days in pve and pvp?

Im thinking about specialize myself since i was always a tank in other mmos.

Also a question: vet dungeons are like to run 1 time only mostly, or there are any appealing to farm them a lot?

They get done a lot as people want the gold keys and often the monster helm sets so at the least daily by many.

As for tanks, generally there are not enough doing pug groups for veteran dungeons from the look of things so you should get plenty of work as one. Also get a good guild and you'll always be busy:)

I don't know about PVP, but tanks are in demand for group dungeons and trials in PVE.

Vet dungeons get done over and over for a few reasons:

1. Monster helms. On the final boss of a vet dungeon you get a chance to have a monster helm drop. Some of the helms are considered best-in-slot gear, and even the ones that aren't are still pretty decent.
2. Undaunted pledges. Each day there's a vet dungeon Undaunted pledge which, if completed, gives you decent XP, some gold, and a key to unlock an Undaunted rewards chest which can give you good rewards, including a chance at a monster shoulder (same comments apply as for the monster helms).
3. Laurels. If you know one or more pages of the Mercenary motif (which drops from Undaunted rewards chests) you have a chance of getting a laurel from the last boss. This is the style material used for the Mercenary style.
4. Achievements. There are various achievements associated with the vet dungeons - some people like to chase achievements

Agreed. I usually find groups pretty quickly on my tank.
