Can we get an option to just have the dialogue in subtitles at the bottom of the screen? This way, it doesn't seem as obvious that you are being taken out of the world for a second into an instanced conversation with an npc and reading from a giant black rectangle.
I understand that this is an mmo so you can't do the same dialogue system as skyrim's. But at least make the instanced dialogues a little more like a conversation and less like 50/50 split with a character on the left and a wall of text they are reading from on the right! Make it full screen with subtitles on the bottom to make it more organic!
[quote/] On pc your able to turn that off, you might be able to do so on consoles but they only gave part of the chat interface to consoles with the latest patch from what I understand. I only play on pc and you have the ability to turn it off in the chat options menu. You might also be able to shrink the size of the black screen or move it as well, not sure how well you are able to do it without the mouse but you might be able to do it.

On PC, while you can turn on/off the NPC dialogue while they are just talking in general but not to you specifically, you still have to interact with NPC dialogue. We on console don't get to see the General NPC dialogue that appears in blue when I play on PC that can be turned on/off. I don't think even on PC, they can turn off NPC interaction dialogue when you're questing.
