Crafting and Selling


What I would like to see in ESO is:

OPEN WORLD PVP,
Arenas,
Improved Addons/Ingame Chat.
FLYING MOUNTS
Guild Houses, Halls.
Bettter PVP REWARDS.

I like it because it's fun to play with my guild mates, PvP is fun regardless of lag.
The thing I dislike the most is the whiners.

The only thing that made this game stand out for me was its connection to TES, therefore I most of all enjoy the lore. Otherwise it could've been just like any other MMO.

The insane lag in Cyrodiil. Gotta love teleporting across the map and being killed randomly!

What I like:

• Large amount of pve content. Never short of anything to do.
• Trading system.
• Good community for the most part.
• I'm a fan of the Elder Scrolls series.
• A lot of people on the forums are decent people and are very helpful.

What I think needs to improve:

• The lag, my god the lag.
• Not a fan of mixing pve and pvp like in Imperial City.
• A lot of people on the forums are whingers.
• Somewhat unbalanced pvp, although I am aware how hard this is to achieve without taking away each classes unique individuality.
• A small minority of egomaniacs in the community who think that being good at video games makes them better people then everybody else.

Features I'd like to see added:

• Player housing, I'm not so much a role player but I think it would be a fun add on to the game, especially if it has in depth customisation options and the ability to display retired armour sets, collectables, trophies, unlocked pets and mounts.
• Guild houses. A good immersive social area for your guild, good for putting teams together. A nice add on would be a notice board for weekly guild goals or missions for both pve and pvp.
• Arenas. I'm not a big pvper but I've been to some of these duels that people put together, there would definitely be interest for this. We've just got to becareful about the balance issues.
• More solo weekly or daily end game content for both pve and pvp.

The combat style is the thing I like most about eso, whether pvp or pve. It's fast and reactive and dynamic and visceral (when it works). Also the game looks pretty sweet.

No matter how strong you get, Dungeon Bosses can still insta-gib you very easily. Keeps you attentive to everything that goes on in fights, having to dodge just about every danger or die. Though more than half of my deaths I really did not see it coming as they don't appear to have any animation or projectile of any kind hitting me before dying.

Combat more based on skill and reading your opponents.

Enough content to keep me occupied for a few years.

Story has engaging plots and subplots. I don't want to just "get through it" or "get it over with" like I did playing WOW

Everyone starts in PVE and moves to PvP if they want. You don't have to pay to move to a PvP server (then off if you don't like it)

No annoying immersion-destroying motorized mounts racing by you.

Subscription isn't required and you can purchase additional content only if you want it.

Unofficial grouping seems to happen more in public dungeons (working together without actually grouping officially)

18+ requirement. Yes, some underage people get through, but at it's not targeted at sales to 14 year olds.

Related - I prefer no dueling in PvE areas. I hate in other games when I just want to complete a quest but some teenager wants to repeatedly challenge your low level character to a duel.

I enjoy the active combat system, when all is working correctly of course. This is my favorite part of the game. Hitting that "pro-roll" is very gratifying.
Also the freedom to equip any weapon adn armor combo on any class.
I love the variety of armor sets but i hate they are not all scaled to v16 and also a lot of work can be done to the traits of the older sets.
vDSA was a blast prior to the champion system, it lost the challenge after.
I like the guild vendor system, i wish there was a setting to remember my last search and keep that until i change it to something new.
Aesthetically the game looks like it takes itself seriously unlike a lot of current mmo's. Also a ton of detail has went into the all the environments and dungeons.
AvA is an absolute blast when the lag is not out of control...and i'm not rubber-banding or crashing or stuck in animation. Even in the current meta I still have a great time in or out of group, again assuming the latency is tolerable.

Enough with the positive stuff, where is the thread for the things that drive me crazy...?

Every single thing.The world,the quests,storylines,and the races.They way the character creation looks so great. I love the sounds of the waves on the beaches.I have stopped though to wonder why there are no waves to actually see.Hehe. I want to go there so badly,but I cant.I'm not in ESO.
I even love those frustration I find myself feeling when I cant beat the clock for the fence quests in Hew's Bane.

I like that I do not have to play in 3rd person but can switch between 1st and 3rd person, after what I deem to be more appropriate for the situation. I play mainly in 1st person, so this feature is very important to me.

What I miss are features from the single-player TES games, like making poisons for weapons - where I do not have just an unspecific poison damage but a specific effect which comes actually from a poison I crafted and is not "magical".

I do as well not like the limitation of the skill bars - because it does not make sense - either I have the skills and can use them whenever I please or I do not have them, then I cannot make use of them of course - but skill bars give a different experience to that - like I would have partial amnesia or so, ridiculous IMO.
