mutagen or rapid regeneration

For a non Templar healer, for vet dungeons, what is better in your opinion, mutagen or rapid regeneration? I've always used Mutagen and have always done well healing on my DK for vet dungeons. But I've never tried Rapid, so wondering what your opinions are.

I think mutagen is better in general for the effect removal and burst heal. Rapid regen will heal for more over time (assuming mutagen doesn't burst heal) which potentially makes it better for solo use (healing yourself). I would use rapid regen in pvp cos I'm more concerned with healing myself.

Yeah I hear ya, I mostly Pvp also, but trying to get some monster sets, as I have none, and healing is quicker to get in a dungeon then dps, every MMO I played I always had a heal char. Might Try Rapids as it needs to be leveled up anyways.

Just curious what most people who are non templars are using.

Yeah stick with the morph you plan to use most, the difference between them isn't huge. I've always thought of rapid regen as the selfish morph but they both do good in groups.

Right, Mutagen is better because the healing amount does not differ highly enough.

Things would be different (and better) if Rapid Regeneration would heal considerably more (like +50%).
Try yourself how the healing ticks are with Mutagen vs Rapid, you'll see.

Neither is really a bad choice... I know plenty who have used both, as have I.

Tend to go Mutagen though usually... just as the burst for a bit of protection... plus I like that it lasts a bit longer

When using a Resto staff for solo PvE questing I always used Rapid Regen. I could activate it before going into battle and it always kept my health up and faster ticks with more healing... I'd use it in combination with Power Surge and Hardened Ward; it was also good when jumping from height to help heal fall damage.

I prefer rapid regeneration when I play as a Templar healer and mutagen for everything else (love it on my tank). Both are good and neither is wrong. If mutagen is working well for you, I wouldn't change it.
