So how exactly do I find them are they the only way to get outlaw style I'm a bit lost on it...

    They're the only way to get gear in the Thieves Guild style. You get the outlaw style from Hew's Bane bosses.

    No.You dont get motif drops from them.Bits of gear,Leniency edicts,gold,etc. You dont have to get them,but they can be seen by their little blue glow and humming sound.They sound like a Nirn Root.

    Huh? What Thieves Guild style? I've taken tons of troves and never seen a Thieve's style great set or motif yet.Just two other sets.Shadow Dancer and Night Mother.They are just gear sets,not Thieve's Guild styles.

    Yes,but the OP was asking about the troves,and you cant get that set in the troves.

    Shadow Dancer, Darkstride and (the new) Night Mother set all use the Thieves Guild motif. You can't actually obtain the motif for crafting, though.

    Darkstrider (medium) has a really nice helmet though, looks very TG like.
