I have a few questions..

RyoAshisogi
1. Do you think Argonian swim faster passive will ever be removed? There really is no reason for it since it's never really needed

2. Will there be anymore classes for this game? Elder scrolls has been promoting Necromancers since the very start but there is no class for it or zombie summons or anything that you could use like you could in past elder scrolls games I feel like there should be more options to choose from the same four classes become dull after a while maybe not right away but a good idea for it

Lastly will there ever be battlegrounds? Like 10v10 stronghold related or capture the keep kind of thing I think that'd be pretty fun especially for people who like running with groups

These are all the questions I wanted to ask if you guys take some into consideration or even answer on some of these subjects it would be greatly appreciated :D

    1) I don't think it will. But I hope it will be merged with a good passive (not the potion one we have today)

    2) possibly. But I think they will make skill lines for all classes rather than new classes.

    1) Unlikely, though they might get adjusted a bit again. personally I'd rather see some setups that make it worth being a lizard... water-filled dungeon with LOTS of swimming and a timed reward scheme, anyone? ;)

    2) I hope not, as just adding new classes would vex a lot of the older players, in an "Why wasn't that available way back when I made this character, it would have been so much better fit for my character idea..." But that's why I always mention what I would like to see instead... yes, the old hands guessed it... something along the lines of my Class Morph Idea, which is not about adding new classes, but about "morphing" your class through adding a fourth class skill line, with three different options per class, for a total of 12 "advanced classes"; also possibly including palette shifts for old class skills to make the new advanced classes visually distinguishable...

Probably not. Though ZoS does kind of need to stop considering it when balancing Argonians.

Maybe. There were two other classes planned in Beta, the Warden (a defensive stealth class) and an offensive mage, though as far as I know, neither of those ever made it into testing. You'd have to ask one of the early beta players if they know anything more.

Beyond that? Maybe. If we do see that, it'll probably come with the ability to respec classes, and ZoS has said that's something they're not particularly interested in doing.

It might also just be more of an option once additional character slots are available.
Lastly will there ever be battlegrounds? Like 10v10 stronghold related or capture the keep kind of thing I think that'd be pretty fun especially for people who like running with groups

    Eventually.

I mean, I know it's not a priority, but there's a lot of demand for this among the PvP community. I don't know if there's enough of them to justify the time commitment, though. I believe at some convention events before launch, there was a 5v5v5 PvP format demoed. I have no idea if, as it was coded, that would be a viable gameplay mode though.

It is possible, I just don't know if there's enough PvPers out there to make the time commitment to developing it worthwhile.

They could do the class advancement tree thing I mean that's not a bad idea maybe putting a little more flare into the game rather having steel tornado, wrecking blow, crystal frag, velocious curse, swallow soul, sap essence spammers

I've been warning my guild, that I'm gonna be insufferable when/if we get underwater combat.

they give me all kinds of *** cause all my characters are Argonians.

I actually kinda like the potion part of the passive. it basically turns every potion into a Tripot, and gives Tripots an extra boost that makes them pretty significant.

but my highest is only Vet 6, so my experience is limited.

    1. I was thinking that Argonians would have slightly better natural mitigation with their thick scaly skin. I know Nords have that as pure damage reduction, but I think Argonians should get a bonus to their total Physical Resistance values by 2/4/6%.

    2. Classes are meant to be the standard RPG Warrior (Dragon Knight), Mage (Sorcerer), Healer (Templar), and Rogue (Nightblade). I don't think we need any new classes, I rather have more World or Guild skill tree lines that every player has access than be tied to any specific class.

    3. This game isn't class balanced in a way for organized PvP in smaller teams, there's too much they need to fix before that happens. Cyrodiil and Imperial City follows the horde mentality, you move as a group.

Kinda, sorta, not really. The classes were originally intended to be split by armor type, with an offensive and defensive version for each.

I'm not really clear if this means the Templar was originally supposed to be more effective as DPS than DKs or not.

Either way, the Sorcerer was the defensive light armor choice. Think about how insane that sounds, then remember that actually squares with the roll of the Sorcerer in the single player games (at least until Skyrim eradicated the old classes).

The Nightblade was the offensive medium armor class. The Warden was the defensive medium armor class. Also, from what little I know on the subject, originally Negate Magic was slated as a Warden Ultimate.

As far as I know, there was never going to be a hard lock for armor types to classes, but someone who was involved in the early betas would know way more on this subject than I do.

    1. Maybe. Like with anything else, they often nerf or change abilities, so there is also the possibility of it being changed. But since there has been no mention of this specific passive anywhere, I doubt you will see it anytime soon.

    2. No. In one of their LIVE sessions they were asked if they would add new classes or class change, and the answer was "NO". -- but I do hope they reconsider.
Although I wouldn't mind an entirely new class, I would prefer they just keep adding smaller skill lines that can be acquired (like, TG, wamp, ww, etc.).

    3. A good idea, and I could imagine it - or something similar - being implemented some time in the future. But again, since I haven't heard anything definitive, it probably isn't on the way yet.
