The set up required for dueling is vastly different than even a standard PVP set up and light years from a PVE set up.

The crying will be epic. I truly can't wait for the waaaaaaaaa!! Over under on the time of the first post that says "It's unfair that I have to duel to get the Helm of blah blah blah!!! I shouldn't have to PVP!!! Waaaaaaaa!!!! MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" I'll set it at 9 minutes.

Ya we stand as much of a chance of ZOS deciding to give us all $1 mil than pvp arenas being a thing. Maybe another arena like MSA.

The templar QQ was when the game first launched. They were nerfed so bad people felt sorry for them so no more cries for nerfs. Mainly because people stopped playing their templars. I remember when DKs also were hit with massive nerfs.

Arenas help solve this issue. It can produce real statistics and results on what needs to be balanced. Team Fortress 2, a game I play from time to time, decided to add in competitive matchmaking recently. Valve, the creator of the game, said they decided to add this in because it helped them determine what needed to be balanced. The same can happen with ESO.

Templars were pretty strong, then ZOS did the knee-jerk over-reaction that they do, and Templars never, ever recovered after that. They were the "Original" Nerfed class in a way.

Waiting for what ? Scroll through any thread and players are crying about everything. Scales, frags, jabs, yadda yadda and so on and yes some skills do need looked at (looking at you meteor) but just players rage posting cause they died cause their build they got of some nameless streamer isn't working.

ESO already has the Dragon Star Arena and Malstrom arena (isn't tank, DK, or Templar friendly).
