Latency in Cyrodil- is it just me?

so i love the large scale pvp action in ESO, with the exception that there is no collision detection for enemy players and the lag.
the lag is pretty much unplayable during primetime, but the thing is it seems that my latency doesnt seem to be amazing across the board. i'm not always lagging, of course, but i have a 150 MBPS connection that i pay good money for and my provider seems to do a pretty fantastic job of service. for some reason though, i get 1400 ping in cyrodil during primetime and when downloading patches its capped around 14 mbps. i know that my download speeds are fantastic because i can download a game on steam at 140 mbps and be done with something as large as Grad theft auto 5 in as little at 10-20 minutes.
what is the problem here? is there a solution being looked at? is everyone experiencing issues as bad as i am?

1 year and half there is huge lags in cyrodiil and in some areas. Not fixed yet, ZoS devs have to change the physical server. The problem is : ZoS technical staff fail. That's ruining the game...

It made them money already. They marketed the hell out of the large siege battles before and during launch.
They also worked then too. -

✭✭✭✭✭The reason you don't see much about Lag on the general forums is that the forum moderators usually take any "hot topic" or highly debated thread about PvP or even PvE off the General Discussion forums and hide it in the "Alliance War" section. Then they claim it has become toxic and close the thread. ZOS has rarely engaged in an honest and open discussion about Cyrodiil Performance or even the future of PvP content in this game.
There was a certain video posted by a popular streamer that discussed the entirety of the state of the game, PvE trials, and the current ZOS business model of pushing new DLC while ignoring current problems in the game that was very eye-opening. That video is being currently censored, somewhat inconsistently.
I don't wish to be combative but it is frustrating when the very act of discussing the state of this game puts us at odds with the moderation team. When certain topics are ignored to the point where my fellow forums members get angry and inadvertently break some highly subjective rule, allowing themselves to be further censored.
Yes the latency is terrible. It has been that way even since ZOS made a terrible decision about a year ago in a few patches that killed performance and has refused to talk about those changes even to this very day.Edited by Yolokin_Swagonborn on March 22, 2016 9:03PM
