Kena and best dps set

Ok so here is my questions.

1) Now kena does not proc unless you ACTUALLY do 2x consecutive hits like it was meant to the whole time is it not worth wearing compared to something else?

2) Magicka Nightblade, Julianos set or Twice born star?

pretty sure it would still be the best, atleast for sorcs, since overload light attacks will proc it.

Kena is only good for sorcs and that's it. Other than that it's unsustainable. Stamina it's briarheart, hundings and Nerenith. Magika I don't know really without Kena. If you're running crushing shock and an ice staff AND have Winterborn then the jewelery set and 2pc armor with Julianos and 2pc Nerenith makes for good dps in pve. It's pretty solid and reliable but an immense grind to obtain it all. Kena is crap for anything but overload. Eats magika.

Kena isn't crap if your group has good support. If the healer isn't keeping up buffs then kena is just going to drain your resource pool to nothing.

Kena is good on anyone.

You just have to know when to proc it. Also, kena on a werewolf is savage.

As for armor... Pvp - kagernacs. Pve - julianos.

Hate to burst the thread, but your first statement isnt true. Kena still procs on weaves. Patch Notes:

"Molag Kena: Fixed an issue where the 2-piece Overkill bonus would still proc if you used an ability that did not have a cost in between the two Light Attacks."

This is not talking about spam skills like funnel health or force pulse. In fact, I feel like it is procing better than before, but that could just be me. Kena is definitley best in slot for sorcs, and probably BIS for siphonblades. You just need a healer that actually does their job and runs things like elemental drain and orbs. I think if you are very skilled you can pull it off on a DK, but the rotation is tricky.

More testing needs to be done, but nerienth does great AoE damage and Skoria might just be viable again. On the PTS, nerienth was still better, but my only real experince was MoL on vet, and it's hard to rely on numbers from a new trial in a test setting.

Then you need to practice your weave if I am being totally honest. The first weave of the 2 has to be very tight to get it to proc. Not sure I can give a definitive answer on Julianos vs TBS. I know on a sorc, your normal rotation is better with Julianos, but your overload is better with TBS. My instinct is Julianos, and I think the difference is marginal at best.

If you are in a group with a healer that doesnt run Spell Power Cure, then it is actually best if you have good pieces. SPC on a siphonblade has like a 99% up-time, but you only need one per group, and its better on a healer. I run VMA on my NB with SPCx5, nerienthx2, willpowerx3, Maelstrom weapons(resto/destro) and the Non-ultimate DPS is much higher than my sorc.

If you dont to use a 2 piece monster set, I would use torugs weapon, 1 piece kena, and a 1 armor piece of torgus. THat will give you max spell damage.
