I'm running win 7 64bit, anything I should get before tomorrows patch?
So is everyone's game client receiving the patch and those who's pc's can handle it can just use that launcher instead or do we have to download a 64bit client altogether?
(this is an on topic query)

As long as your CPU is 64 bit capable and you have a 64 bit version of Windows installed it will launch the 64 bit client for you.

Can you alter it or are you stuck with the default? I'm thinking of what options you have if the 64 bit client gives you problems where you had none before.
okay so I have a couple questions about the 64-bit client. I run windows 8 with 8Gb ram, I know, not that great, but my internet kind of sucks, well it does, big time so would the 64-bit help me run better? Do I have a choice of whether to run it or not? (Non troll answers would be fantastic)

This is a general check list
1. Check and make certain your GPU is fully DX11 compliant. This can be done with DxDiag or simply by Googleing your particular GPU and check the Technical Specifications of it from the manufacturer. The DxDiag report will have a similar line: "Feature Levels: 11.0,10.1,10.0,9.3,9.2,9.1". The HW DX11 support is not equal to the software DX11 included in Windows 7 (DX12 for Win10).
2. Check if you actually have the 64-bit Microsoft VC++ 2010 Redistributed installed. The ESO installer installs the x86 32-bit version. The 64-bit can be found here ; https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632
3. You'll have to manually create a shortcut to the 64-bit client (eso64-exe) on your desktop until the 64-bit client is stable enough, at which point the launcher will start the client in accordance to your OS (32-bit or 64-bit).
Other than that, I think most will be good to go, even if the live 64-bit client is one or two weeks away from today's DLC and patch update.
