I played an insane amount of ESO on PC for the first 4 months of it's release on PC, then took a break and played again for a few months when it released on XB1. I focused more on PVP on console because of the ease of access with chat and what not. Each time I came back I found the single player content mostly, was my motivation for doing so, PVP was fun, but got boring when it became the ONLY thing to do. I found the changes to my class (Templar) to be barely noticeable each time around, whether that had anything to do with my play style or not idk, maybe it was luck. I never felt under powered, or broken like many threads suggest around these forums, the only times I felt that way where when I got Killed by someone who animation canceled, or spammed broken techniques for easy exploitation. I have however been annoyed by a few things, and wish for others, so here's to the Dev's hopefully peaking this thread.
I'd like to say thanks for what we've been given so far, I love the game, but I feel with the Sub's and preorders, the budget to add so much more to this game should be no their, and all I want to know is, What are you doing with it? Orsinium is pretty great, I thought the Imperial City was good in theory but poorly executed, and broken by a lack of interest in the guild/alliance war system. someone put it best by saying "too much pvp for pve players, too much pve for pvp players." Is the next DLC going to be as big if not bigger than Orsinium? And what is planned after that, Most games give 3-4 DLC packs known about before or right after release, I feel with the amount of money the consumers put into this game, we should atleast get a bit more insight into future content, or maybe poll people for what the next DLC becomes?
Want's/Need's
-Rare Fish included in food/drink recipes, maybe even add purple and gold tier fish. Since the inception of perfect roe fishing is annoying, this would lighten it up a bit.
-Housing to display trophies, why stuff them away on an alternate for people who like to collect stuff in games like this. Even a rented room in an inn with wall and table top space would suffice.
-Naming Weapons and Armor, It would add to the already painstaking process of crafting research and add a little extra to what you create.
-Ease up on the crown store items like XP Potions, food, drink, and potions, intended or not it turns provisioning and alchemy into almost afterthoughts. Stick to vanity only, you already dropped the sub fee (which is the price of 4 or 5 energy drinks for a month of gaming to the people who argue) why make alchemist's and chef's hard work devalued but not someone who bot farms ore and wood?
-Better or more Unique Gear/Loot from PVP, especially vendor wise. Maybe add Random Vendors who are in the countryside that sell gear certain times/days whatever, gear changes, spawn location changes, it becomes something people hunt for, something you plan for, as it stands 90% of pvp gear is blah and AP is only for motifs no one really wants anyways.
-Guild Wars/Activities. Some type of Guild vs Guild Content, wether it includes crafting, questing, pvp, maybe Guild Trials. Something to spice up guilds and make them more useful than grouping and a store to use.
-Revamp alchemy. 50% of the ingredients you can collect and gather are for potions no one would use, Provisioning got it's time, why not Alchemy?
Im sure I got more, but this is all I can drum up, thanks if you took the time to read!
