Jewelry Crafting & Actual Jewelry that we can see...

I have done a search on forums and don't see any recent posts about this, so here goes...

Is it possible to get Jewelry Crafting in the game at some point, but also (and here is the most important bit), can we get actual jewelry that is visible on the character, if we wish for it to show? It can come with a toggle option just like Helm.

There are so many cool amulets and rings in previous TES games that we all know and love! I would be so happy to actually see what we are wearing, rather then them being equipped but totally invisible.

Please comment in this thread if you support this idea/ would like this ingame.

P.S. for those to whom aesthetics in a game are not important, bear in mind that there's some mmo's who run completely on aesthetics alone...

I don't care for the visual. Crafted jewelry would be nice but it would also give in more to power creep. The need to bring back soft/hard caps.

I think ZOS likes the limited # of jewelry sets. I gives them a chance to sell more DLC so you can get your B-O-P jewelry for running B2P content.

    crafted jewelry is never nice,
everything in ESO is craftable except jewelry which is a reason to put some effort in order to get :)
especially legendary quality jewelry.. if we can craft jewelry then it will be boring to have everything with 0 effort

crafted jewelery used to be in the game, they pulled it...

Everyone wants it back.... the reasons they don't are fairy ambiguous..

And no it's not a balance or playing content reason. I can explain why also incase it isn't obvious.

If not rendered directly on the player, perhaps at least a mouse-hover light box image with some art specific to the jewelry.

This is only of the worst things in the game in a game with "Choice" the jewelry shoe horns you in to one set. Damn near every build archetype use the same jewelry theirs no there is no variety everything is so cookie-cutter.

I don't PvE cause I'm simply not going to farm for 8 hours for roll of the dice items that I can't trade to get the ones I want. When I play the game I want to play the damn game not spend the three weeks of farming need to get a set in the RNG BoP PvE world.

I have a full time game I don't need another full time in a game.

Yeah, it has been mentioned before (well, the lack of craftable jewelry a lot, but the visual jewelry only once a long time ago what i recall...)

And yes, it supposedly was in beta, but got yanked - I always thought they did that because a crafting skill line with only -two- things to craft/research would look somewhat anemic... even compared to woodworking at six, and especially to blacksmith and clothier at fourteen.

Of course, it would be great to see jeweller get added at some point!

All they would need were more things to craft... and there are possibilities.

Crowns for example, as armor-slot piece that has limited armor value, but perhaps provides some group-wide buff if worn by the leader? (wouldn't you love to lead your PvP zerg wearing a shiny crown? ;) )

Or some alternate destruction/restoration magic weapon... I always thought having only big ole wizard-staves was a bit meh in this regard, and would love to see some "spell focus" as alternate option, things like (depending on racial style) holy symbols, ornate spellbooks, gemmed skulls, meditation crystals, gilded scepters, shaman rattles - sounds like stuff right up a jewellers alley.

Bing - rings and amulets and crowns and three destro and one resto spell focus - seven things to craft. And with that, jeweller would be as viable as woodworking...

Could have added something else jewelry crafting can make then, like maybe ornaments for housing, or added it to Blacksmithing like in Skyrim.

There is always a way to balance things.

I've always wanted craft-able jewelry and to have it actually visible on my char would be fresh!

If they added jeweler it would actually be easier if they simply added it to enchanter.
