Before posting in the forums, I thought it better to see if we can solve this outside the public eye.
A friend of mine (Jeff - if I was certain this went only to support I would give his full name & e-mail, so do please advise me if I can) has purchased ESO, gets the old 'activation' error and has so far tried in 3 ways to get a support ticket past the automated system, but apart from 3 Surveys he has not been helped or even answered. He has not managed to get on the forums either.
This affects other friends of mine who have (1) or will (others, unknown #) put ESO purchase on hold (no bluff). I am a patient muckup so - I will gladly stick with them to get this cleared up. We are all familiar with Murphy's Law! In other words: things go wrong, that's ok. But please do not auto-close tickets this way. It is bad for your reputation. Oh and mine hmm ;p.

If you’re up for it, post in the forums that you have a friend who has been trying for two days to get past the automated systems for “support”, and is unable to log in to game because the Activation Email process is not working. I’ve sent three support tickets in, each have created an automated response that does not solve the problem, and then closes the support tickets off as “resolved”. I also keep getting surveys to tell them how good their service is, and in each case have responded that the problem is not solved. If a CSR would reach out to you Lucas, you can forward the email to me so I can contact them directly.
Or something like that.

We have been in an MMORPG group for over 15 years (my one and only mailing list) and are trying to 'get together' in ESO atm. So far 3 players.
If you can help Jeff (#4) out, I would be very thankful.
Let me know what I should do, and how, please? I will check for PM's but it might be better if you just mail me (game account mail addy).
