So I have run V16 Vet White Gold Tower an insane anount of times now. Here are my experiences that I hope ZOS will address or even compensate for somehow in the next patch.
At first I needed a Molag Kena helm. From my many runs, the best two Molag Kena helmets I have recieved are Heavy Infused and Medium Infused (within first 20-25 runs). Check! Everything I wanted! Happy.... Now for the dropped sets.....
Imperium is nice, but my tank became a master crafter.... which leaves my Magicka Sorc who wants to stack max magicka. "Too bad Necropotence isn't V16... Oh look! Spell Power Cure is the ONLY OTHER set in the game I can get 2x Max Magicka for a 3-piece bonus!" And so I continued the grind in hopes of getting ANY THREE DIVINES/INFUSED pieces of Spell Power Cure.
Currently I have 1 good (good meaning divines/infused) piece of Imperium, 2 good pieces for Overwhelming, 3 good pieces of Essence Thief, 0 good pieces for Shock Master, AND..... 0 good pieces for Spell Power Cure....
(Interesting note: All good turned out to be Infused except 1 Reinforced. No Impen/Sturdy/Exploration/Training/ Divines)
I've gotten 3+ pieces of all of these sets, with tons of copies ALL as Well-Fitted . My question to ZOS is, why does Well-Fitted have a significantly higher chance to drop on these rare sets than other traits? The grind is already insane, but to get useless traits is so pointless.
I solo/attempt to solo many group dungeons, and also run with low lvl Vets sometimes, knowing I won't get any real loot and waste a lot of time. This is something I do because it is fun. Unfortunately, I don't see myself running Vet IC dungeons "for fun" anymore. Now I just want my sets and I'm never going back.
Any ETA on updating traits to all be useful, or allowing people the quality of life improvement in the crafting interface called "Change Trait"?
