I didn't want to actually comment - had no appropriate words for that, I don't think this forum to be the right place for such topics to be debated, still felt touched and compassionate about this person.
What did you want me to do ? Nothing ? means indifference (nothing is worse than that)
Vote "agree" ? agree on what ? It's not an opinion that's being discussed there.
Vote "awesome" ?? this story is touching but nowhere near "awesome".
Insightful means "Read you, understood you, feel for you, there's nothing more I can do".

Some use it in the way it was meant to be used as per the definition of insightful.10 -

If I had wanted everyone to know on that other thread what I meant, I would have written it. I use "insightful". Take it, leave it, I don't really care.
