Returning player - Xbox One?

Played at release and for about 6 months after. Have been thinking about grabbing a new Xbox game and have been itching for PvP so I thought of ESO.

How is the Xbox One version? Anything I should know about it before I buy?

If you want to PVP some of the Campaign are very Laggy and so you might have trouble in some of the more populated Campaign.When it's works it's really Fun.

This lag situation is concerning, also.

Its fun if you find the right Campaign and play with the right people. Haderus is extremely laggy, with Scourge as a close 2nd, I tend to stay out of those campaigns because of it.

But Skeleton key and Thornblade are pretty fun, not much going on during the off hours but during prime time it's tons of fun. DC rarely has a single bar on either of these two but we do well with what we have. AD is probably the most populated faction with EP as a close second. But still love being in DC, something about being outnumbered is fun.

Anyways I'd suggest giving it another go, if you're good go DC we could use always use more skilled players. NA if that matters.

Thanks guys.

Think I'm going to continue my adventures in The Commonwealth, so to speak, and sleep on getting back into ESO for a few days.

I'm finding out that in order to get the imperial upgrade or the explorer upgrade for console you can't just add them on. You have to buy the appropriate edition from the start. Since I'm not finding anything other than the basic game available on disc locally, so far, that's a problemo. It's really the flexibility of the explorer pack I'm after but not sure it's worth 99 bucks to get it, either.

I'll give it some consideration though. Thanks again!

yes it's always like ye game is great this and that and meanwhile go a different thread and be negative. this game has issues and it seems like the way they fix it get worse and worse. best example is he admids ss is OP and beter then heavy armor. while heavy armor loses DPS and ss not he does not even dare to make a change to the SS issue. and before people start now you can DoT it this and that he also stated SHIELD DIDN'T SUPPOSED TO STACK. they didn't think of this in their designs. which again we have heared ALOT

If you're stuck on console. Trade your Xbox in for a ps4. You get a little more eye candy.

Also, access the crown store to find the imperial upgrade right? At least on PC you find it there.

i thoght ps4 had more latency issues then xbox but i could be wrong about that one

Maybe when LizardSquad is ddosing Sony servers, which they seem to do pretty often, but they also hit XbLive servers often too.

Not sure either, I leave that to console pl....players

I dunno what they be smokin, but im on xbox one and RARELY experience lag. Only sometimes in Cyrodiil and even then only for a few moments.

I run in the AD most populated campaign Azura's Star, never had any lag outside of that campaign.

People seem to have not noticed the major improvements such as QQ over CP cap, etc...

Drop rates will be going up, lag is being addressed, seige is coming back strong, forward camps, new build diversity, race change, quests can be completed, etc...

I say give it a shot, it's gettin better all the time.

Fyi. Digital imp. Edition upgrade in crown store, for 2100 crowns (cant confirm since I have already but was told from a friend). Adventures pack is available too for 1900 crowns. You can purchase all on the Xbox store.

Is the crown store an in-game thing? Crowns are new since I played last. Is the explorer pack available there that you've seen? That's really what I'm looking for.

Also, you cannot, in fact, upgrade a lower version of the game on Xbox live. The packs are listed there but when you go into the details they aren't buyable individually but are flagged "bundle only." When you look at what the bundles are, it's the imperial edition and collectors edition versions of the full game.

I thought this made no sense also, but called support and they confirmed that this is indeed the case.

That's because your in your faction buff server so their barely any competition their.So of course their no lag.Come to a another Campaign and you see how the lag gets.

I'm on Xbox and have no issues but I don't PvP so there is that. I got my son a copy for PS4 at Christmas from Amazon and it came as an Explorer Pack presumably left over from the launch in June? My original copy was for Mac but was also a left over Explorer Pack so that was what I transferred to the Xbox. The ability to play all races is kind of nice but I found that I prefer to start a character in one of the correct races for the alliance. I am an altaholic.
