Is a Breton Templar Archer with a Restro Staff secondary a viable build? Will it die quickly?
2/3 light and rest medium. With 10 magic, 15 health, and rest into stam?

Pretty much this. You'd be seriously gimping yourself using both stamina and magicka.
I suggest you use vigor, rally, or something else to heal yourself.

    No
You will die quickly and you will do near zero damage

For breton go magicka and dw(just for more spelldamage, u dont use dw skills)/restro or Destro/restro

For an Archer go full stamina DW/bow or 2h/Bow and take redguard/khajit/imperial

So DW gives more spell damage because of the extra item for a set and extra trait? All the passives increase damage for DW abilities and weapon damage/attacks.

Sorry if this is a newb question... I'm a newb.

It's actually both. Slotting DW does give you an an extra set bonus, but the last passive applies to your spell damage as well. Most casters (except DKs) run a DW bar. It is a few hundred point buff to spell damage.

Oh alright. Wasn't sure if weapon damage affected spell damage.

Another newb question. Why pair restro staff with DW? Is that just for additional support/healing?
