4 person battle leveled dungeons?

Is the new "BATTLE LEVELED DUNGEONS" showing up in this coming update? I have 3 friends of different levels who are waiting to all play together. We don't wanna use the group finder for that "extra stranger".

You have 3 friends. so that's 4 people. just toggle the group finder and manually invite your 3 buddies. and that's it.

Is that option in the new group finder? As it stands (xbox) you have to allow at least one slot for a random in order to use the group finder (that battle levels).

well, no idea how it works in the console's UI, but if you toggle it on, as it searches it should already scale when you go into the instance. or so that's how it works on PC. then you just manually invite the other person.

Or you can just go out kicking whoever gets inside the group finder until you get your friends.

On PTS (PC) you can manually group and then port to the dungeon using let's say random dungeons.
This works differently in the new changes coming on the upcoming DLC. Yet to be finalized but it seems each person will need to port because walking in doesn't place ppl in the same instance otherwise.

This also works for Trials but you can heal ppl of other alliances as of now on PTS. Seems it's not going to change on live as of DLC release.

I don't believe it works exactly as described by the other person commenting if the intent is to have a vr16 scaled dungeon and have all 4 players scaled.

If you are all in the same alliance, form the group with 3 people, start the group finder and then immediately invite the last person manually.

If the dungeon you are trying to do is not a pledge, it should be pretty easy to pull off.

Ok, that little cheat totally worked. I did have to kick one person because i couldn't send my 4th invite fast enough. I didn't feel good doing that but, this proves that ZEN just needs to make this official.

If you do this, either for scaling or to do cross faction groups before TG, PLEASE set the grouping tool to a dungeon that is not the pledge. Preferably one that doesn't get a lot of traffic (groups I'm in tend to use Blackheart Haven), THEN once your group is assembled port to the pledge dungeon you want to do.

It's really annoying to be sitting in the queue for 10+ minutes, get a group, and then get immediately kicked and have to move to the back of the queue. Happened to me three times last night trying to group for the vet pledge.

Yeah, i get it. It killed me, kicking that person last night. We avoided the pledge for that reason.

If you don't use group finder, than yes.

Don't know about PTS, though.

The reason Im trying this little group finder "trick" is so that it battle levels everyone to VET16. This allows us to play together.

If we group normally and enter, then it scales to the group leader.
