Subscription purchase page asks for billing information, crown purchases ask for steam wallet.

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, so if this isn't I hope whoever is in charge moves it wherever it should be.

I've been trying to purchase a subscription, and it tells me that I have to fill out billing and payment information for it. But if I try and purchase crowns, it redirects me to steam. I would much rather get a subscription and use my steam wallet money to pay for it. Is this intended for some purpose or another, or is this not supposed to happen?
