A lot of Setchanges... what about Scathing Mage?

Hey there,
just browsing through the patch notes and being very disappointed that there are still no news regarding the scathing mage set.
I worked pretty hard to get this and I know that many others did, however the Tooltip was wrong and it doesn't proc from DoTs or AoE Crits making it nearly impossible to be used effectively (6 seconds buff with 6 seconds cooldown) and atm Julianos and Twice Born Star are a lot better (which anybody can get with no effort).
Are there any plans to get this right in the future or should I just deconstruct it?
I've searched the forums and couldn't even find ONE official statement about this although there have been a lot of questions regarding it, seems they don't care about stuff that is not from the latest DLC.
