"Song of Night" costume broken on Khajiit!

I have three Khajiit female characters, and I get the same glitch with all three - their ears and hair disappear, and there is no hood or face scarf. (I have checked, and all three have the setting "Hide Helmet - Off", so it can't be that.) Other Khajiits out there experiencing them same issue?

I have checked with my other characters (Bosmer), and it seems to work fine on them.

I really want this outfit, but am pretty disappointed that it doesn't work properly on my Khajiits. Please fix ASAP :blush:

Note:
I have bought the costume, and if I toggle "Hide Helmet - On", my hair comes back but my ears don't...

Same problem here, I have just submitted the bug report. I'm really disappointed because I've been waiting for this one and, surprisingly, it works perfectly fine on PTS... Please fix it :(

The weird thing is, it was working perfectly on the PTS last night:

I'm getting this as well on all my Khajiit (that is to say all my characters). The males bloat up in the chest and the headdress isn't showing on ANYONE. Strangely enough, it seems that the hide helmet option has opposite effects on males and females. On females, hiding the helmet shows the hair while on males hiding the helmet takes the hair away; showing the helmet (well theoretically since it's invisible either way) on females takes the hair away while on males it shows the hair. No matter what, though, the ears are getting clipped off.

Pretty disappointed, in truth, given I've been waiting for this outfit for weeks for one of my characters in particular who hides her face but doesn't yet have any lounging clothes outside of her armor. This would have been perfect for her, but not being able to show the headdress kind of defeats the purpose of her even wearing it...

Hoping this gets fix a-sap given, you know, it's kind of a $10 purchase here and it was working in PTS as shown above.

It still works perfectly on the PTS, I've just checked. All the costumes appear to have been tweaked for male and female, so why they've put out this broken one is anyone's guess.

Considering that they want people to pay real money for it then it should be perfect.

Still hilarious on my orc though! :D

Yep, any horns on my argonian head vanish when I equip it. and also, the same issue, from what I have posted a little while ago on the previous version of this costume, still wasn't fixed and applies to this one:

Also, I take back my statement for now. The patch notes in the PTS says it fixes bugs with this costume.

Hmm. That's interesting. I actually haven't noticed either of those all the times I wore it. Used it only on Khajiit with plenty of different fur patterns. Granted, I never paid much attention to how the patterns looked before and after.

Still, at least that isn't nearly as bad as getting ears and hair cut right off. I'm really scratching my head at how they managed to miss this.

Completely agree. I have the Whisperweft Gala costume as well for my Khajiit, but the tiny bugs on that is nothing compared to this.

So it means it will be fixed when the new DLC comes out? :( I was really hoping for it to work properly sooner... I'm not sure if I'll buy it at all, then. Such crazy bugs are too much if they need a whole month to fix it.

I am seriously considering asking for a refund, since I can't use it properly until the bug is fixed! Me so sad...

Asking for a refund is not a bad idea. This costume is not a minor bug, it's a gigantic mistake and I can't believe someone overlooked it. How can you release an expensive product and let it be this flawed? It's almost as silly as if they released a costume that does not appear on a character at all.

I just have to say: do they not beta test these costumes at all?

A display glitch on entire races should have been caught first thing. I saw the glitch happening in the preview itself, without even buying the costume.

All they needed was someone to quickly preview the costume on every race in-game, male and female, and they would have caught this.

I've certainly put in a support ticket asking for a refund. If you do so, just remember to at least be courteous to the support staff. They more than likely have as much to do with the QA staff as any of us do. Explain your situation and tell them that when the QA team figures out what in Oblivion they were doing and it all gets fixed you might consider repurchasing, but until then it is unacceptable that an entire race is experiencing bugs of this scale with such an expensive item after it's been shown to be working perfectly on the PTS. Seriously, though. QA staff, what even were you doing?

Received my refund within 24 hours. The support staff are actually some awesome people and they were really understanding. All it took was a quick help ticket from in-game and they fully refunded my crowns and pulled the outfit from my inventory. Explain the situation and why you find it unacceptable - and it is unacceptable - for such a blatant lack of QA to be conducted before the item's release. This is an entire race (and beyond) with a major display glitch being sold for $10 worth of crowns.

And yes, I realize that whether the crowns are from an ESO+ sub or not, ZOS technically already have your money. However, those crowns are dedicated and out of your hands once you purchase something; by demanding a refund you not only give yourself one more channel to voice your displeasure but reclaim crowns you may very well have had to purchase all over again for the next item that catches your fancy. It's always a risk, no matter how minor, on ZOS' side that you won't repurchase it and thus use them on another item instead of giving them another $10 for more crowns.

Unless you don't mind playing with clipped ears and hair for the sake of the outfit, you lose nothing but a minute to type up a respectful refund request. But you gain a bit more weight to your voice and make ZOS all that more aware that they 'done goofed it up.' Just be kind to the support staff. Poor guys have the least say in what goes into the game and have to deal the most with all the crap that comes back out from the players.

Thanks for the info  I have only submitted a bug report so far, and not asked for my refund yet. So this is very encouraging. I will try writing to them about a refund later today after server maintenance!

Tried to reach out to support and ask for a refund, and I get a reply saying they will not give me a refund... I have written a complaint back, hoping that they understand what poor customer service this is.... This one is saddened and annoyed by this outcome
