I have the PTS installed on an external drive (the SSD is kinda small) and it works fine.

I installed both pts and main game on external. Works fine.

I just see no options for me to be able to switch the folder to my HDD. Both of the "options" icons available in the thingy don't allow that sort of thing.

The problem seems to be that once you have either the pts or actual game installed on a selected drive, you cannot pick another drive to install the other one on.

Just copy the whole ESO folder to another drive, simples.

I did yesterday as i dont have enough space on my ssd for both game and pts. Doesnt take long, few mins to copy, then just install the pts.

    This worked for me.

I recently upgraded my SSD. The drives are super cheap now, $65 for 240GB and $129 for 480/500GB. The cloning software makes it beyond easy to upgrade the drives, and it takes about 5 minutes. No need to reinstall OS or games or anything.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Trying this now, will report back if it works out.

Just make sure to open the launcher from the correct folder, i.e, the drive it's installed on ^^

Had to open Zenimax Online > Launcher > Bethesda.net_Launcher (Application), then create the shortcut via the client settings tab.

    Thanks @Shader_Shibes
