BUG have to hold r3 to continue to sprint and reinitiate a heavy attack each swing

It is an odd bug that I have seen in two different accounts. Basically if I cast reflective light or any version of that spell while I have a 2h/dual wield sheathed it only unsheaths my 2h and does not cast the spell. This also happens when I do the same thing while mounted.
This problem is unfortunate in itself because I know other spells that will cast right away if I'm mounted or have a sheathed weapon. The worst part is that I now have to hold down r3 to continue sprinting(which I normal just have to press r3 once to continuously run) and I can no longer hold r2 to continuously do heavy attacks. After each heavy attack I have to release r2 and press and hold again for a heavy attack.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Edit: I have seen the same issue with any variation of the dragon knight spell unstable flame.
